Pours from the can into an imperial nonic a burnt orange color with alot of chunkies and floaties swirling,a thick white head atop.Grassy and herbal hops stick out in the nose with even more grapefruit rind coming thru,a massive hopped APA.Tropical fruits abound on the palate with a slight resin quality thrown in,not a big bodied beer by any means.Pretty easy drinking with the big fruit qualities and low alcohol.Something I would drink all day if had around here.

Tall can...11/08/17

Pours w a medium haze, lasting fine bubble off white cap, leaves low sheeting and strands and bits of lacing.

Pineapple tropical fruit nose.

Tasty APA, with more pineapple and oranges coming to mind...pleasing, fresh tasting and well worth a try

Hazed and opaque, golden orange colored with a head that barely rises up and then falls away quickly. Aroma of orange rind and grapefruit, some pine. Bright hoppy flavors upfront, lots of citrus and pine, some orange rind. Moderate bitterness. Even mouthfeel, moderate carbonation, finishes a bit tingly. A little too assertive for an APA IMO, but a very good beer nonetheless.

Poured from a 16oz can.

Look: Hazy amber with a white head, which has good retention.

Smell: Mangoes, orange peel and pine. Mostly very pleasant but there is a solvent note (toluene?) that detracts slightly from the otherwise wonderful aromas.

Taste: Like the smell but better. Solvent goes away and the hops do their thing. Flavors really come together as it warms from 40ish to 50ish. Firm crackery malt flavor in the background. Clean.

Feel: Nearly perfect, drinks bigger than its strength, which is an awesome achievement for a relatively low ABV hoppy beer. If you swirl the dregs and pour them into the glass you will introduce a little bit of astringency, but worth it IMO to get more of the great hop flavor.

Overall: A great beer. Kind of a session version of the big VT IPA's (Heady, Sip, Tribute, HF, etc.). Yes, 5.5% is a little high for a session beer but certainly a lot less impact than 8%. Huge bang for the buck.

Poured a 7 day old 16 ouncer into a shaker glass. The nose is a bit more subtle than a lot of Vermont/NE style IPA's. Pours a hazy burnt orange with a half inch white head. Nice lacing. Taste is much more tropical than the nose indicates. Soft and smooth on the mouth. Overall another terrific IPA from the Green Mountain State.

My first try of this brewery. Can from Brewed and Bottled, recommended by the owner. Very decent crushable IPA if not too unique. Understated hop flavour.

16oz. can into Night Shift stemware.

Nose is papaya, mango, cane sugar and dank citrus. Fragrant with a great fruit sweetness. Beer opens pine, grass, papaya, pineapple and cane sugar. There's a bright hop bitterness up front with tropical fruit flavors slowly working their way in to create a nice balance. This is really excellent. Body is light to medium with moderate to low carbonation. Slightly prickly in the mouth and goes down soft with a messy, lingering, quenching finish. Incredibly drinkable.

A really impressive beer. Excellent balance with great hop and fruit flavors all around that is tied together masterfully with a feel that makes you go back for more.

Grabbed a 4-pack in Dorset, VT. Juicy and big floral hops playing up the NE IPA, scaled down to a pale ale. It's smooth upfront with a bitter grapefruit edge in the finish.

Pours deep orange with a 3 finger off white head. Aroma is earthy and malty, very pungent. Taste is similar with notes of citrus added. A liitle like a west coast ipa but a bit sweeter. A slight bitterness but well balanced.

Pours a deep orange color with a frothy white head that recedes to a thin film and a ring, leaving fair lacing behind on the glass.

Tropical fruit – mainly mango – greets the nose. An expanded aroma of slight stone fruit or peach or apricot and tangerine are added to the mix. Additional warmth brings a slight dankness to it. A strong inhale pulls out some fresh, light malt notes.

Flavor follows closely to the aroma. I also get some resinous pine on the back of the sip. Light maltiness on the mid-tongue as well.

Light to medium body, resin, nicely carbonated. Some hop zing keeps the soft mouthfeel from falling into pillowy territory.

Well, this is a nice beer. I’m not overly impressed by it though. I wonder if my expectations got in the way? I purchased this at CBC in Waterbury, VT at the recommendation of one of the staff there, so I think I was expecting something really impressive. Instead, what I find is a nice beer that I would gladly drink multiple of. I can’t help but think of Augie Carton's differentiation between drinking beers and statement beers, and this is definitely in the former category, in a very nice way.
