Two quick reviews of each location...

Oaklyn (OG location): there is something special about this taproom, it hasn't change much at all since the beginning. Tap list is on the wall with hand done art, great variety of styles, one side pull tap, cask from time to time. Bar tops and table tops are mostly live edge thick wood slabs. Great looking place, usually have some great music on as well, from time to time they'll take requests from whoever is at the bar drinking. You have to ask for cans, they keep them behind the bar.
Kindest people on earth work at Tonewood.

Barrington: much larger big new building...the plus here is you can pick and choose your beer from their refrigerators and they have a little merch section up front. More clean beers on tap where as Oaklyn has some extra mixed ferm stuff. Barrington also has multilple side pulls as opposed to Oaklyn's one. No cask here yet, as of this post. This place is usually more busy and I will quite frequently see showers or birthdays being thrown. This is a place I would grab a beer and cans to go whereas Oaklyn you could happily hang out for hours and feel part of a community.

Corner box of a place, garage sorta place, with some outdoor space available...the biggest issue for me was the lack of air conditioning on a brutally hot and humid summer day....not sure if this was a one day event, but it made staying here for long a major problem....

They offered 9 “hoppy” beers and 3 “others”...drafts, cans, crowlers and growlers all available....

Bring your own food in and there are several food spots just down the street.

Friendly staff and a laid back, neighborhood kinda feel....worth a visit...just maybe call ahead if it’s gonna be a hot summer day and you don’t like sweating

Trying to get a spot in New Jersey checked off my list, this spot is the closet I could find to Philly. It's tucked wonderfully in to it's surrounding neighborhood. The selection was pretty nice and it was just a little busy, but not crazy. The service was pretty average, but the beer was good and the vibes were way up there. Not sure it was worth the almost $50 round trip Uber, but it was still a nice place.

This place is my local brewery, so i might be a but biased. It is located in the middle of a small downtown strip with a couple of food places right next door (which you can order and they'll deliver to you in the tap room) and also has plenty of parking. The tap room isn't huge but is wide open so there are no real bottle necks or cramped spots, plenty of standing room and in the spring they put some benches outside to make a de facto beer garden. It seems to be the perfect hybrid of brewery tap room and local bar w/ a great selection of tunes playing.

They generally have anywhere from 8-12 beers on tap, mainly IPA and APA focused with a smattering of other pretty standard styles (stouts, gose, pilsner, etc). Fuego and Freshies are the everyday stand outs and tend to be on-tap almost always. They also have a cask engine too that has a bout a 50/50 shot of having something on-tap. Every now and then they will have a DDH fuego or Powerdaze DIPA on tap, those are my favorite. They do full pours and will give you a taste of a beer if you ask for one, but they do not do flights and will not do crowler/growler fills of stuff that they have in stock already canned

Today was ~5th time visiting. Unseasonably nice, sunny, 70s weather. First visited only weeks after it'd opened... Hopefully this winter will visit again; only ever visited during spring-summer months, usually when the large garage doors are wide open, air a' circulating. Last visit was a few months back during a particularly sweaty-hot day, place was getting packed, but there's plenty of room, don't feel crowded... Bright, lively interior to the room, bar/table/standing areas are comfortable; enjoy seeing the unobstructed view of the brew house only feet away behind the bar.

Usually rather pleased with the variety in draft selection. Several requisite IPA on tap, but also a stout, porter, dunkel lager, saison, etc. Never without at least one or two appealing selections. Glassware always clean; service often friendly; beers are all priced either $4 or $5, depending on oz... Whether they've honed their craft or they just know what they're doing, they seem to have some of the more consistently quality beers out of the Jersey breweries within a half-hour radius of the main Philly bridges. The location is also great as well, perched on the corner of the intimate yet bustling little main drag of Oaklyn, with at least two decent food joints in short walking distance, as well as a homebrew shop. Recommended.

From visit last month.
My wife and I arrived 6:30 on a Friday evening. Tonewood was clean, but a bit on the small size. The place was packed! Fortunately, 2 spots opened up at the picnic table (indoors of course) a few minutes after our arrival. We squeezed in, then realized someone (me) would have to go up to the bar for our beer. The beertenders were busy running back and forth trying to keep up with the crowd, but quickly took care of my needs. We settled on a couple of beers, and checked out the rest of the digs. While having our brews, we realized that the crowd was now getting larger, and people were still coming in. Tonewood was now JAM PACKED with customers. We stayed for a bit, and bought some accessories before heading out.

The beers were very good, but I didn't expect the brewpub to be that crowded so early. The only negative was how loud it was inside. Otherwise, I thought the people running the taps did a fantastic job keeping up, and give them both a thumbs up.
