Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a moderately hazy, medium golden amber with a one finger white head with great retention and nice lacing. Aroma of pale malt, citrus and tropical fruit hops, orange, grapefruit, mixed tropical fruit and a touch of dankness. Flavor is pale malt, tropical and citrus hops, orange, tanerine, lemon, mango and a little pineapple. Somewhat resinous citrus rind bitterness in the finish with fleeting fruit esters. Medium bodied with light to medium creaminess; solid body. Well when I saw the can listed Citra and Mosaic hops, I thought "WC style IPA", but the pour was more like a hazy NE style and that was enhanced by the aroma, which has a lot of tropical notes in it. And this turns out to be one of the IPAs I like to end up with when I see a hazy in my glass: a hybrid IPA that has tropical fruit, which can be different and interesting, but with some solid citrus and real bitterness. This is a little tame of the bitterness scale, but plenty to keep my interest and prevent it from being fruit juice. The malt is supportive, but not barleywine dense like many triple IPAs. For an IPA with a very familiar listed hop bill, the flavor is a bit more complex and interesting, which I suppose is due to the Mosaic. A nice introduction to a brewery I have never seen before. I'll try them again.

LOOK: opaque golden amber with super coarse head and lots of bubbles
SMELL: Pineapple and Grapefruit with pine coming in on the back-end.
TASTE: surprisingly earthy flavor for such a high-caliber IPA. No fruit or hop bomb-iness. No alcohol flavor either, which usually gets unearthed right around this ABV% for a few others I’ve tried from different brewers. Super balanced and complex.
FEEL: Incredibly dense.
OVERALL: really great IPA for those tired of the same citrus hop bomb experience.

I should get out of the habit of pouring from the can into the glass at an angle. Minimal lacing. Nice sweet citrus scent. This TIPA is definitely hazy, poured from a 1 pint can into a Rastal Teku glass. At an angle. Anyway ...
Love the taste. Melony and other big fruits. Mouthfeel is on the creamy side but not big creamy. Finishes with -- duh! -- hoppy bitterness. You tear the phone book in half. I'm gonna drink this beer.

16oz can. Poured out a cloudy, golden orange color with a large, off-white head of bubbly foam. It left study trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of pineapple, grapefruit, fresh melon and sweet caramel. Sweet tropical fruit taste with melon notes, toasted caramel and a piney bitter bite.

01/31/21 stamped on bottom of can. Poured into a Samuel Adams Perfect Pint.

A: Hazy light amber with 2-finger white, frothy head with good retention and thick bands of lacing.

S: Aroma is nectarlike tangerine and guava with light resinous, herbal notes in the background. Hop intensity on the nose is 8/10. Fruity esters provide a floral, fruit salad bouquet.

T: The flavor intensity is down at least a notch from the stellar aroma, but it's still enjoyable. More of a general fruity hoppiness comes through with pineapple, orange, and lemongrass providing some grassy, herbal character. Flavor intensity is 5/10. Alcohol is well-disguised and mainly notable in the aftertaste. Estery mainly in the aftertaste also. Low bitterness as you'd expect.

M: This is a dangerously drinkable beer from feel standpoint with a slickness that makes it easy along with the drying finish to look for another sip. Body is medium at most with low-medium carbonation.

O: I liked Power TIPA but wished the flavor intensity was up a couple of ticks. The aroma is exceptional and feel is dangerous. Be careful!

Served in a flute glass from the can (32oz crowler).

Appearance: Super Cloudy yellow with medium bubbles to the body. Body has a deep definition to it comes off already looking full bodied if that is such a thing.

Smell: Holy aroma which comes and goes into the nostrils. Smells good just wish it had more potency.

Taste: Smooth smooth malty bomb if a beer. Juicy brew consisting of grapefruit and tangerine. Touch sweet with a hops infusion which I can't stop Inhaling it.

Mouth: bit dry but super sticky.

Overall: grab it. Best pick up from my trip to New Jersey granted the beer is from the Midwest. Salud!

Really easy to drink for a 10% TIPA and alcohol doesn't show through in the profile much.

Tastes an smells exactly as advertised with ripe and rich mosiac and citra supported by a hefty sweet grain bill. Creamy and silky mouthfeel. Well done.
