We just got back from my second Vermont Beer Hunt in 3 years. This year we stopped at the new Alchemist Visitor Center with the goal of efficiently acquiring some beer and then moving on. The facility was nice and big. The parking was easy and there was plenty of room. You could tell that it was made to punch out the beer and they did a great job of it. The limits were liberal and the selection was more than adequate. They gave out free samples and the beer line was lightning fast. When you enter the facility the hop smell slaps you in the face like a wet rag. Really amazing. The only comment I would put out that may seem a bit critical was the lack of "Vermont" charm. The facility reminded me of a visitor center that you would find along the NYS Thruway in any number of places. The place works as intended but I am not so sure about the modern approach to the design. But the beer is plentiful and there is no reason that I can see to not go home with more than enough.

Very impressive all around. Must try. Leave yourself some time because they are at their height of popularity right now. Heady Topper. Yummy.

Squeaky clean and well presented for a first impression. Brewery end is a lot of stainless and it appears you could eat off the floor. Worker bees have a great attitude about asking if they can help as well as tell you about their beers. Nice free pours for their tasting area and a well designed area to buy beer and beer stuff that had The Alchemist written on it. I was there right at 11 am on a weekday and waltzed in and out so I can't say anything about more popular times and lines, etc. outside of the building, a great design, there seemed to be a fair amount of parking. Well done and I am glad I went as there are releases that one can only get there. Although I think that they may be trying to change that somewhat?

Pilgrimage to The Alchemist is well worth it. last couple of times I have gone, there has been no line. In and out with cases of the good stuff. absolutely love this place.

Relaxed modern atmosphere with hip music and three samples of free beer flowing. The staff is friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They usually only have 3-4 different beers for sale, but they're usually world class beers. The only complaint I would have is the unpaved parking lot, that becomes a muddy mess in the damp winter months. Other than that, visiting the Alchemist is a bucket list experience.

Great Vibe, quality and service as expected of the alchemist...only negative is that you can usually only get a few different beers to choose from at a time bc they are so popular and the demand is high, which is understandable. But every beer I've had from here has always been amazing, and I would take quality over quantity any day.
