12 oz. can poured into craft beer glass from Libbey set (wide-mouthed stick)
L: clear amber, lots of brown in it to make it close to copper; pushes up small head of offwhite foam, about 1/3-inch tall; no stick or lace
S: toasted grain, toffee, earthy hops; as it warms the malt aromas sweeten into peach, toasted peach, peach/apricot kolache or pie, fruitcake
T: classic toasted malt with an earthy hop bite; the malt provides a hint of sweetness, molasses or burnt brown sugar; the earthy middle dominates the flavor
F: almost a middleweight with plenty of carbonation
O: a solid example of the style, nothing out of bounds or off with a strong dirt-hop presence

As fast as Octoberfest beers go, this is a pretty good one, exponent not made in Germany.
Poured from a can into a shaker pint. Beautiful pour with a thick cream head and excellent lacing. Caramel and biscuit smell and taste. A bit of honey. Pleasant full feel. I would buy this again.
