Pours a beautiful amber in color with a thin layer of head and lacing as you drink. Aroma is prunes, raisins and molasses with a sour, high note in the background. Flavor follows the nose pretty well, but the sourness really comes through. It's almost like fermented dark fruits and caramelized malts... what. Not what I was expecting at all. Mouthfeel is smooth with lively carbonation -- light, but a little chewy. Would be drinkable if it tasted good. Overall, not what I was expecting. I have never had a Vienna Lager like this, it's more like a sour Amber. Not my thing, and a bit difficult just to finish one.

Short carmel head and sweet malt aroma. The brew is more light brown than amber. This lager is tart and somewhat sour, not nearly as sweet and smooth as I had anticipated. A toasted flarvor comes through in the end.

A bit underrated I think. Poured from a can into a tulip glass. Nice amber color with decent head and lacing. Subdued sweet smell. Sweet earthy taste.

Appearance:
Amber-gold, clear. Good amount of carbonation. Thick white head.

Aroma:
Bready, caramel, honey, clean lager yeast.

Taste/Finish/Body:
Semi sweet, bready, caramel, biscuit, slight honey. Clean lager yeast character, almost apple-like. Hop bitterness is mild, I'm getting spicy noble hops. Finish is crisp and clean, slight dryness. Light-medium bodied, crisp, clean, refreshing, well carbonated, super drinkable.

Overall:
It's a very good Amber/Vienna-style Lager.

It was tough finishing a 6 pack of these. Had a very distinct molasses flavor. Im really into ambers but this was not for me. It is very different from what i am used to. Maybe its your thing, whatever, no more for me.

Pours a clear reddish color with off-white head. Caramel malt, bread, hay, and a light floral note on the nose; follows onto the palate. medium bodied. Finishes with some bready notes. Average amber style lager.
