Located on the corner (hence the name) of West St and Rt 63 in the heart of town, @The Corner has the best selection of local brews on tap that I have found in Litchfield County, now that the Backstage in Torrington has closed. When we went there on a mid January Saturday for lunch, the Connecticut brewery selection on Tap included Beer'd (Stonington), Fox Farm (Salem), Kent Falls (Kent), NEBCO (Woodbridge), Outerlight (Groton), Relic (Plainville), and Thimble Island (Branford). There was also tap beers from Berkshire (MA), Captain Lawrence (NY), Evil Twin (NY), Industrial Arts (NY), North Coast (CA), Paradox(CO), Singlecut (NY), and Stillwater (NY). I didn't even get to the bottled or canned beers. The prices are around $4-6 for 5 ounces, $6-8 for 10 ounces, $7-10 for 16 ounces. They mention 2 liters for a few beers; not sure if that is a pitcher or a growler fill.
The food was good but a bit pricey. Considering that there is a large number of weekenders from New York, and it is Litchfield, the prices aren't out of line. We got there right at 12:30 and there was plenty of seating, but by 2 when we left the place was packed. This location has hosted a number of restaurants over the years, so I hope this one sticks!

Located in the center of town, this place is a breath of fresh air with respect to beer selection in the area. They've got a broad selection of beer styles with emphasis on local. Food was pricey but very good. The burgers with all locally sourced ingredients were great.

Corner store front on main drag with big glass walls of two sides, giving place a very light and open feel. L-shaped bar behind the front dining room seats 15-20 people and there are additional table around the perimeter of the room. Excellent, varied, and mostly local tap list; I enjoyed a Beer'd and a Thimble Island. Food on the pricey side but excellent.
