This is an average tasting beer. It is a nice EPA but it is nothing over the top or to turn into your go-to beer. It does have very nice color, taste, and finish, but I definitely prefer other EPAs over this one.

This was poured into a pint glass. The appearance was a glossy pale orange with a finger’s worth of a smooth white level head. As the head dissipated, stringy lacing stuck around the sides. The smell had a cooked caramel aroma with a slight burnt pale citrus hops about it. The taste was basically bitter with a side of caramel running about it in the background. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was mild but somewhat there. Overall, it’s an extra pale ale that fits the bill for the style and is okay to me.

So what we have here is a pretty good American pale.

It pours nice and golden with nice lacing and little fizzies. The aroma is a weakfish slightly funky smell.

The taste is bitter and malty on the side, but also a little funky. The aftertaste also has a little something funk in it.

Not recommended.

12oz bottle. 4/21/17 best by date. Appearance: Deep golden with a touch of orange, hazy, and a moderate thick off white head and nice lacing. Aroma: Grainy, toasted bread, with an orange rind citrus hop note and a bit of resin. Taste: Grainy, toasted bread, and a touch of caramel maltiness. Moderately strong bitterness brings some grapefruit and herbal notes. Mouthfeel: Medium bodied and moderately carbonated. Finish: very dry with some sticky hop resin on the finish. Bitterness really stands out and lingers here. Overall: A nice, easy drinking pale ale. Has the malt character of an English pale ale, but the hop character of an APA. Has the malt backbone to balance the aggressive hopping, but finishes with a strong lingering bitterness.

Delicious beer.
Light color but beautiful yellow.
Taste is better than I expected.
Wonderful taste that is not overwhelming.
Can feel it in your mouth but not hard to put back.
They did something right here.

Pours a golden amber with a white head. Has a citrus smell. Tastes citrus hops. Bitter at first, but you get used to it. Mouthfeel is light. Overall, a good summer or after work beer.
