Copper in color, it hits those sought after 1/2" white head and uniform lace after good retention notes. The aroma definitely stresses the "extra" pale ale aspect as there is a very light malt, almost corn like feel to it with minimal hop notes.

Taste keeps that toasted pale malt and 2 row vibe going. Cascade hops. Plenty of carbonation for the lighter mouth feel. Plenty serviceable come summertime, especially when you have someone who doesn't like abrasive or in your face bitterness or hop flavors.

Pours orangey-amber with a thick cap of foamy off-white head. There is great retention and soapy small lacing. The aroma is mild, slightly citrus-y hops and grains. The taste is about the same. It has a medium light body, with a moderate amount of carbonation and a drier finish.

L: Pours bright gold amber from a 22 oz bottle into a Libbey craft pub glass producing a moderately persistent 1” off-white foam cap.

S: It starts with nice biscuit and caramel aromas but then I start getting a garlicky onion aroma from the hops. I have had this before and not noticed this.

T: Starts with bread crumb and light caramel and then stone fruit, herbs, earthiness leading to a moderate hop bitterness in the finish. More orange flavors come through as it warms.

F: Very effervescent, medium body.

O: I don’t know where the onion garlic aromas came from but overlooking that, the beer drinks well and has nice flavor.
