Summer Ale pours a bright straw color with a very small and barley lacing head. Malty and farmy aroma; pretty sweet. The taste is a bit creamy, malty, with a strange bitter bite near the end. Good body and feel. Overall, lighter for summer.

Pours a cloudy light gold with a medium-sized white head that is faintly foamy. Good retention leaves small sticky lacing. The aroma is mild but still offers biscuit malts and herbal hops. The taste is similar but a little less robust or distinct. The body is lighter without being thin, with steady carbonation and a slightly dry finish.

I tried this from the bottle in a stange chilled.

The color is golden with good clarity and thick foam of white with very good retention and fine bead with lace that clings
The smell has a bready scent with herbal hop aroma and mild toast in the mix with light fruity element. The feel is very good with nice balance and low sweetness with a moderately high amount of carbonation and semi-bitter texture with a mostly dry finish.

The taste is crisp with dry malt paired with some pepper in the hop flavor and mild yeast accenting the dry quality . The malt brings a gentle toasted element with herbal flavor from the hops balanced yet there is a bready taste still present in to the dry and semi bitter finish. Overall this is a pretty solid take on the style with hops you don't see in every Kolsch -a nice nuance of hop synergy with malt in a lager-like crisp drinkable quality ale

This one looks like a beer I'd want to drink in the summer. A nice golden, slightly hazy, with a finger of white lingering head. Good lacing, and a moderate amount of bubbles rising. It has a nice sweetness to the aroma, some grass and grain. Almost a grain of paradise note in the background. Same with the flavor. Doesn't seem like a 4.4%'er. Has a nice amount of carbonation and medium body, not watery at all. Very nice brew, and the price is right, around here. Good stuff.

L- Very clear, near water look with pale yellow tint, slightly lighter than domestic light beer from the white malts used. Nice white two or three finger head
S- Floral hoppy smells with crisp light maltiness.
T- Starts with a crisp malt flavor with an ever so slight bitterness. Pleasant dry floral, piney, and kind of tangy hop flavor lingers long after drinking.
F- Light bodied with fairly high carbonation, perfect for a nice summer day.
O- Great summer beer. Could be argued that it lacks flavor, but I think this ale provides the perfect amount of flavor for a hot sunny summer day, especially with its mellow bitterness, crisp malt flavor, nice carbonation, and light body. Highly recommend to pick up a six pack for a day on the lake! Pairs very well with guacamole and chips which I happen to be eating while drinking.
