Hey....this is a good one....definitely worth a try. The beer has great hop character (pine citrus) both on the nose and taste. It poured a slightly hazy copper with white head that is leaving a lace. Mouthfeel is lighter in body with smooth carbonation. Overall.....very nice!

Oh my! The citrus. The myriad of fruits! The perfect malt backbone! I hope I'm not being too hasty, but this is the tastiest IPA I've ever had. Will try again later just to make sure I wasn't dreaming. Cheers!

I should preface this by saying I poured from a 6 pack that had an expired enjoy by date. This has the citrus flavor I like in an IPA but was missing the sharp "pow" taste I also like. Presumably because it's expired. My least favorite part of the beer is the sticky/foamy mouth feel. I plan on revisiting this beer when I find a fresh sample. EDIT: tried a much fresher 12 pack and it has a tropical pineapple scent w/ solid hop profile. Winner

On tap at Burger Jones into a shaker pint

A: Hazy golden amber with minimal head
S: mmmm! bready malts, dank earthy and orange citrus notes
T: Like the nose, though also some caramel malt, and some piney and spicy hops to go with what comes through in the nose...great combination! Very nice, all things considered.
M: medium carbonation, medium body, wet and sticky while finishing somewhat dry.

overall: Still remember when this first came out a few years back...never really cared for Summit's old IPA, but I was intrigued by the name and was up for something new...what a pleasant and delicious surprise. Now its an old reliable.

Pours hazed golden. A thick head thin and lasts throughout. Lacing sticks down the glass.

The smell is of robust citrus with a hint of pine. Some caramelized malt/grain in the back to complement it.

The taste is citric - orange/tangerine with grapefruit mixed with floral notes. Complex, rich hop character tied together by a firm malt backbone.

Very smooth.

A wonderful example of an American IPA! Hop-forward but enough malt to keep bitterness balanced and to make it smooth. Very well-done!
