Appearance: Pours with two fingers of bubbly white head. The color is golden light orange. Active carbonation is on the lower side for the style.

Smell: Biscuity malts and some toffee starts off the nose. Some caramel malt notes are present on the body with medium bodied fruity hop aromas picking up. Pine cones and some syrup on the back of the body transition well off the front. Slightly herbal hop aromas carry through into the finish.

Taste: Biscuit and bread really pulls the drinker in. The hops easily transition after the front yet pack a decent punch and leave a lingering bitter finish. Caramel, light nuts, molasses, and rounded brown sugar leave an easy, clean finish on the palate which keeps you pulling on this brew.

Mouthfeel: Extremely drinkable, hop bitterness is low overall. Carbonation is middle of the road but plays well here.

Overall: A really tasty brew from Summit. Love the new 6pk canned format which is just perfect for IPAs, especially at under $9. Would be a great beer to crush a few in one night or bring to a party with non-craft drinkers. Well done.
