From Beer Drop. No dating on the can.

Pours a clear, very pale gold with a small and fast shrinking head of foam that doesn’t leave the scene completely.

The smell is hoppy, bitter with some notes of bread and caramel.

Nice noble hops character up front in the taste, light bread, some sweet notes, assertive hop bitterness in the finish.

Feels light bodied to me. Misses excellent by a small margin because of the aftertaste.

S:. Strong floral noble, with notes of cereal malt and toasted bread.

T:. Toasted bread and cereal malt, nice floral noble hops and a touch of pine.

F:. Light and easy drinking.

O:. This is a very nice hoppy lager.

Pours a lightly cloudy golden color. Similar to my experience with their helles, this has some pulp-esque yeast floaters. Thick, three finger white head forms on the beer, but does dissipate pretty quickly leaving no residual head.

Aroma has notes of sweet malts, doughy white bread, and a strong vegetal spicy noble hop aroma.

Taste has notes of white bread, sweet bread, a moderate minerality, and some spicy noble hops on the back end. Although not as vegetal as the nose implied, there is still a bit of an "off" character to the hops on the back end.

Feel is light, crisp, fizzy. Pretty bright carbonation. Somewhat drier on the back end.

Overall, for as impressed and excited as I was for their helles, this one was disappointing. Not sure whats going on with the hops in this, but its not great.
