Close to highway 101 in the southern end of the city, right in a neighborhood. Brewery is in the same room as the taproom, one can see and smell the brewing process as you sip your own glass of what they are currently making. The building is a warehouse type of structure and has a really high high ceiling, polished concrete flooring, varnished picnic tables for the indoor seating and wooden hop cone lamps hanging from the ceiling, supplementing the lighting, when the big roll up wall doors are open. They serve their tasting flights different from any brewery taproom and this is a superior method. Like most other brew pubs, the flight of 4 or so is in a wooden rack, but that's where the similarity ends. They have full size i.e. 8-10 ounce, tulip style brandy snifters, in which they pour in the usual 4-5 ounces of beer, but one can and should swirl, because there is now room to do so, unlike the little 4 ounce glasses, filled up to the top, to get much more aroma, to start the assessment process. Highlight beers of the four tasted were the apple brandy barrel aged "Gold Baked" and the "Swimming in Simcoe" west coast IPA. One of the best in the city, beer wise.

Parking available. There was a food truck in the parking lot, not sure it is there all year around. Great place, dog friendly, arcade games, plenty of comfy seating and regular bench and bar stool seating as well.

Nice place! Great customer service...enough space to stretch out and enjoy yourself...good quality brews...the only issue is that it is San Francisco and you have to figure out parking and stuff...

Super nice and large space that when busy is really busy! However, while there can be several long lines for beer they move pretty fast as the staff cares and really works hard. Nice selection wide across the board in style - something for everyone and all well made. Hard to park so Lyft or Uber is best (may be best when drinking anyway, right?) High quality of all styles. Highly recommended - a place not getting a lot of hype but worth the trip.

Stopped in here on my home from SFO, headed north. Quick and easy off the 101, will probably become a regular stop anytime I'm leaving the airport at a respectable hour.
The vibe was awesome, big open warehouse with lots of room and space to watch sports, sit at the bar, enjoy big communal tables, play arcade games, or get a quiet spot for you and your party. Everyone I encountered was happy and friendly.
Quality was quite nice on everything I tried, a couple lagers, lots of IPAs of various stripes. Pretty typical modern american tap list, meaning it wouldn't hurt to have a bit more diversity of styles but doing what they do well.
Service was top notch, bartenders were working together well to handle a fairly crowded saturday afternoon. The one recommendation I was given was spot on and indicated a wide knowledge of the taplist by the barkeep (I was after a hazy IPA that tended toward the bitter end of the spectrum).
Typical issue with modern breweries it seems. Two types of lagers (one of them hopped), about 10 IPAs (a couple west coast, one brut, the rest hazy), a few variations on a fruited cream ale, and a couple fruited goses. Not a bad selection but lots of holes.
The food is a rotating food truck but their board indicates there is a regular rotation with a different one every day of the week. It was sliders the day I was there, they were delicious but were also san francisco priced. They also had pretty good pretzels at the bar.

My favorite brewery in SF.
Absolutely delicious beer. New yummy hazy offerings are constantly being tapped for our enjoyment.
For the best in beer porn check out their online draft list .
There's usually some sort of food truck parked in the driveway.
The hospitality manager is a cat.

I visited Barebottle while in town for work the other day. It's a cool space, a big, open warehouse with many big communal tables and the brewhouse right out in the open. When I visited, there were 12 beers on tap plus a "pilot system experiment" tap, which I found cool. The beers themselves were quite decent; there were a couple of sours on tap which I always appreciate. It's a solid choice.
