Pours a very cloudy, pale, banana-skin yellow with a finger of yellowed head. Poor retention. Soap bubble lacing.

Creamy mango, pineapple, white pepper and light grass and herbs in the aroma.

Fairly bitter tasting: strong grass; lime, orange and grapefruit rind; light honeydew melon; a certain tea-like earthiness; and the slightest hint of toasted white bread.

Medium bodied and slick feeling with tight, sharp carbonation.

Like others from Homes, this has a fruity NEIPA aroma with nice citrus rind and other bitterness in the taste sharpened by strong seltzer-like carbonation.

Appearance - Pours opaque yellow almost mustard color with a big thick white head excellent retention. Sheets of lacing.

Aroma - Dank weedy hops, bitter citrus peel, grapefruit, orange, earthy hops.

Taste - Earthy hops, grapefruit, orange, bitter, mild mango. More bitter than tropical fruit but really dank.

Feel - Creamy, full smooth feel. Really dry finish.

Overall - Well done NEIPA hits all the marks, I like that it is more dank and bitter than sweet.

16 FL OZ can
Served in a stemless wine glass

This beer pours bright yellow and hazy. It is topped with an inch of beige head that leaves no lacing.

The smell has elements of dank, pine, tropical fruit, and melon.

The taste begins with tropical fruit. Melon comes in the middle. Grapefruit and light pine are in the finish.

Medium bodied with a creamy mouthfeel

I think this is one of HOMES better IPAs.

Canned on 7/8/20

Pours an opaque, bright pale gold body topped with a finger and a half of craggy, white foam; good head retention yields a vague cap, chunky collar of froth climbing up the glass, and a limited, splotchy array of soapy lacing.

Aroma opens with grassy dank lemon touched with quiet undertones of brief candied mango and tropical fruits; a touch of creaminess over the middle feeds into raw citrus flesh and hops resuming on the close.

Taste offers subtle pineapple and underripe papaya phasing quickly into an expressive, slightly musty and dank lemon tone to dominate the front of the profile; an increasingly grassy mid-palate eases into soft malts into back end, with accents of raw hops and light orange peel fleeting on the finish.

Mouthfeel features a semi-creamy medium body accompanying a milder, moderate-light carbonation; a consistent mid-palate steadily reveals layers of soft hop acidity over time, before a stiff grit, steadily bitter, fades through the back end and into the finish.

A solid base for a rounded NEIPA, this one offers an earth-tinged lemondrop expression enabling an easy nuance on the palate, though it ultimately feels just a bit raw and one-dimensional for the style.

On draft at the brewery. Fantastic. Bright hazy yellow, topped with two fingers of bright white, long lasting head. Tons of citrus on the nose and in the flavor, including some nice orange zest/orange rind type bitterness. This one really hit the spot.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, no can dating, but is a recent release. Pours opaquely hazy deep golden/amber/light orange color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and rocky off white head with awesome retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, gooseberry, citrus peel/zest, wood, light peppercorn/pine, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops, and bready oat/malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, gooseberry, citrus peel/zest, wood, light peppercorn/pine, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Mild pine, citrus peel/zest, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, gooseberry, citrus peel/zest, wood, light peppercorn/pine, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops, and bready oat/malt flavors; with a solid malt/bitterness balance, and no astringent hop flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/bready, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 6%. Lightly increasing hop burn after the finish, but not overwhelming. Overall this is a fantastic NEIPA. All around outstanding complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops, and bready oat/malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the mildly bitter/drying finish; awesomely soft feel. Fantastic Citra, Idaho 7 profile. Very juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hops; with a great balanced oat/malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.
