I visited this brewery on a.trip for work. Food was from a food truck parked outside (very good). He place is in a local industrial complex off a highway. High ceilings, modern feel, with lots of classic rock on the speakers. The fermenters had classic rock names, and the atmosphere was great. I especially liked seeing families and kids playing pinball. The beer is solid and flavorful. Nothing too adventurous on tap, but I though that the cream ale and the porter were particularly well made. Attentive staff. Nice place.

BM was a most welcome addition in the summer of 2016 to the beer desert of South Metro Minneapolis. We greatly appreciate their ambitious style selection, and the most recent seasonal addition of Delirious Belgian Strong is a real first rate brew for any brewery to pull off, much less a new comer.

I really liked the vibe of this place. Nice open and clean space was inviting. Lots of baby boomer rock references and music playing, which is fine and familiar for this baby boomer. Service was a little shaky. Can't criticize for someone new, but he didn't seem to be getting much help and I didn't find the staff all that friendly or cheerful. Not a lot of good eye contact.
Overall the beers are boring really. Nothing particularly wrong but nothing all that exciting either. Space for food truck out front.
I'll go again because I work near there and I like the space. And I'll try the other beers but I'll go for the company more than the beers.

we had a great time in here, and they are turning out some really good beers and apparently being supported pretty well by the community they are in, they must have sold 25 growlers in the hour we were in here having a couple beers. the space is large and new looking, with what appears to be plenty of space to expand, they already have some cans coming out too, going right for it! the brewery is all open, shiny and new, and right in the center of their large space, with the bar off to the side, comfortable and not too loud even though it was busy. they had a something for everyone on the beer list, maybe ten total to pick from, and all we had were great. i liked the calibration day ipa a lot, but also really dug the hazelnut brown. the bartender was real friendly and didnt seem to struggle with the high demand. one thing i liked a lot about this place was the sort of relaxed confidence of it all, the beer is all super well made, but nobody was up tight about it, arrogant or anything, they present it in a very cool way, very sort of mellow and easy, which i really like. they have some unique recipes going and should start to make some waves in the local scene with these cans coming out. worth a visit if you dont mind the drive, the beers were great.

Great taproom location after a day of shopping at the outlet mall across the street. Very large industrial looking taproom with the tanks easily seen. Large amounts of seating and the place always seems to be busy. There is a nice room on the side for holding events that I actually saw holding a children's birthday party showing the place is child-friendly. The music they play is great (classic rock) and from what I have heard, they hold concerts there. They have delicious popcorn and regularly have food trucks. The beer is definitely passable. They had a very solid honey brown and SMASH IPA when I went there. Their milk stout was alright and their pale ale had a home brew quality to it, but this was on an early visit.

Bald Man is still pretty new. Located in an industrial big box building in a third tier suburb. There's a small patio with a fire pit, which will see limited use with the onset of a Minnesota winter. Beer only, if you want food there's a popcorn machine. At least on weekend nights, a food truck outside is there for more substantial fare. People have been known to order in pizza. Beer service from the very large bar is fast and friendly. Flights are avaialble as are growlers. Prices are reasonable with small and large sizes.
