Eye: pours a nice and very clear golden color. Head is dense and rich. Not so much lacing, but that's prolly the glass. Head stays around even though I'm halfway through the lieter...granted it has fallen to a thin film but it's better than nothing

Nose: malt sweetness and some alcohol come out in here. A bitter hops would be welcome, but I'm happy with this one so far, I won't complain. Overall a nice smelling beer.

Tongue: hops come out here, nice noble varieties that add a perfect balance to this beer, it's hop forward in the way a pils should be, not like an American ipa but there is more emphasis here on the hops than say in a Munich Helles style, and also more than in a pale euro lager.

Drinkability: I've had this one on more than one occasion but just have never reviewed it... So yes worth coming back to!

Intro : This brew was the monthly tap selection. Tap date was 24 June 2009.

Appearance: Medium to full head. White plentiful lacings. Light honey color. A little dark for a Czech pilsner, otherwise well done.

Smell: Malt sweetness. Very "high pilsner" style. Wonderful traditional aroma. Minor hop onset quickly melds into malt for mid and sustain.

Taste: Non-cloying very dry presence. Excellent attenuation. Clean & crisp. Sweetness picks up after dry onset. Flavor curve is high early and tapers off quickly with a pilsner sustain. Interesting and "tasty".

Mouthfeel: Light presence. Very pilsner on the palate. Carbonation cleans the tongue and carries the tast well. This is a little more like a German pilsner than a Czech pilsner. Excellent.

Drinkability: Excellent. GREAT hot afternoon by the pool drink. Highly rcommended.
