This beer pours a cloudy pale orange color. The head is a massive three inches in height, and recedes slowly into a large cap of lacing that sticks around leaving chunky lacing on the sides of the glass. The aroma is of clove, banana, lemon, and a hint of bubblegum. The taste is similar to the aroma, but with slightly less banana. The mouthfeel is medium-full bodied with a chewy texture, and lively carbonation. Overall, this is a great hefe that I can see as a regular in my refrigerator.

Drank from my Erdinger weizen glass.

A - Pours a cloudy Golden colour witha White frothy head that retains ok.

S - Plenty of Banana and clove in the background.

T - Nice Banana notes with a little bubblegum. Yeast and bread present. The finisgh is a little sickly sweet.

M - Medium body and low carbonation.

O - Not the best hefe but not the worst either.

11.2 fl oz bottle served in a weizen glass, reviewed live:

A - Pours a murky peach color with a surprisingly creamy 2 finger head. Retention is also good, and the head leaves nice lacing as it dies.

S - Holy yeast. Awesome yeast notes, with some orange peel, spicy wheat, and fruity esters.

T - Strong and spicy yeasty notes play well against the wheat foundation. Orange and lemon compliment the flavors nicely. Refreshing and pleasant.

M - Light bodied and smooth. I wish it were more crisp. Not really tailored to the flavors.

D - Has its flaws, but a good quality, sessionable beer that I'd reach for again.

Big white head that slow recedes into a pretty decent lacing above a clear rich golden colored light bodied beer.

Grains, the wheat is a backdrop for a light lemon citrus hops aroma.

The taste is more of the citrus hops with a very nice honey wheat coming through as well.

A light dry aftertaste that does carry through it some of the citrus and honey of the taste.

Oades sixer mixer

A & S: mostly citrus, bits of metallic and biscuity malts. Super lively looking straw colored beer, pour the whole way down the side and it still poured a full finger of fizzy beer. The pure white head turns from fizzy to foamy and retains at about a half a finger level. Good amount of lacing.

T & M: pretty similar to the smell, the orange comes through pretty well in the taste. Very tart. Banana and cloves come through when looking for it after it warms up a bit. Not a super powerful taste. Pretty much what you would expect from a European hefewizen, nothing special but pretty good. Pretty high carbonation making it pretty crisp but still semi-smooth. Medium bodied.

O: Probably wouldn’t buy it again but I still really liked it.
