Bottle poured into a pint glass

A: Pours a brown, chestnut color with an white head, lots of lacing, beer is clear.

A: Lots of malt, brown sugar, light nuttiness, bread, honey, nice complexity of aroma.

T: Follow the nose with faint nuttiness, brown sugar, roasted malts, toasted bread, honey, aftertaste is sweet, toasty, honey, very nice.

M: Light bodied lacks carbonation, has a dry nutty finish.

O: A solid beer, doesn't burst with flavors but is complex and deep in the taste, taste like a brown ale with a touch of honey and bread, a good fall beer.

Clear amber brown pour with slim tan head, mostly a ring. Aroma is malty goodness with cooked sugar, bread and slight spice. Flavor follows though more subdued. If it tasted like it smells it would be wow. A little thin and watery, but very drinkable and enjoyable, just wish it was more full-flavored.

Bready yeasty dark with rich barley malt backbone. Caramel and herbs grace the palate of this light brew. Pours light brown with khaki-white head that dissipates as quick as it froths up in the clearish pour. Moist finish. Toasty bread loaf smell. Bread in a bottle.

Pours dark amber, head slow to dissapate. Comparing to other German dunkels, this is an easy drinker, dark malt flavor is weak, mouthfeel is thin. Still, consistent quality throughout.

Unfortunately this beer was skunked due to the green bottle therefore the numbers are skewed. I will seek this beer out again and hopefully find a fresh bottle

The beer is a dark copper/brownish color with some transparency. Decent carbonation with a soapy head. I am not getting much off the nose. I am not sure how old the bottle I bought from the store so that may have something to do with it. I am just getting the bready malt aroma that associate with many German lagers. The taste is a little more bready than the nose and has a slight sweetness to it. Medium boded beer with a light crispness to it. A very refreshing feel.
