Went there for a second time today. Great selection both on tap and on the shelves. Lots of local representation, and a lot of stuff you can't get around here without truck chasing. Eric and Colt are nice guys who know beer, and they offer great special events.
Updated my ratings. This place is awesome, and they just paired with Noon Whistle to make the best of the Gummy series yet.
New note: they don’t have the new Minooka location as a separate entry, but that’s a fun mini-version with a good tap list and selection as well. The online ordering/easy pickup is convenient and welcome these days. Plus it’s only about ten minutes from my house!!!!
I have tried so many epic beers here that I can't even keep count. Owners and Staff are wonderful. Beer selection is one of the best in the southwest suburbs. Creative event's like blind vanilla beer tastings, girl scout cookie pairings. Epic beer releases. Renewed my membership which also includes the store in Minooka. I can go on but I think you get it! This is an amazing place for beer lovers!!!
Located in a nondescript strip mall along Weber Rd., it's definitely not your typical liquor store. Modern and clean with a small taproom style bar, with a digital screen of their rotating taps, 12 in all. Beer signs dotting the walls, and some empty trophy bottles behind the bar. Store selection was very good, I was mainly looking for local SW burbs stuff and they had plenty: Metal Monkey, My Grain, Buckle Down, Hailstorm, Werk Force, and Blue Island. Lots of canned options, some other highlights for me included Logsdon, Boon, an Ale Apothecary collab Brett Lager, Central State Halsdurchschlag, and several other quality options. Shelves were clean and well organized.
Draft selection was very good, with options from Transient, 350, Pollyanna, Mikerphone, and more.
Service was excellent, the owners double as the staff, so you get specialized and knowledgeable assistance. I got a chance to chat with the owner a little bit when they opened, and later at the bar as some of the regulars trickled in. They host regular special events, and collaborate with local brewers and tap special beers for them.
Overall it's a welcome craft beer oasis in the southwest burbs. I'll be back when passing though the area.
I went for the Noon Whistle GummyBuddy release. Strip mall location that is clean and well lit. They also have a small bar with twelve taps. Service was friendly and very appreciative. Bottle/can selection was good, but I was hoping for more. Wish this were closer to me. I'd be a regular.
This place is a welcome beery mecca in Romeoville. The owners are all super friendly, and very knowledgeable about their products. There are 12 rotating taps that thus far have had some real gems. In the less than a month they have been open I've seen the likes of GI Proprietors and BC Barleywine, Vietnamese Speedway Stout, Stone Xocovesa, and many more. The packaged beer selection is good and improving every day. With lots of easy parking out front and a convenient location near restaurants on Weber Road, this place is easy to love.
