L - Deep opaque black with mahogany highlights around the edges. Light tan head dissipates somewhat quickly but a cap sticks around.
S - Tons of nuttiness, peat from the whiskey, some charred oak, roasted and toasted oats/barley.
T - Rich notes of nuttiness - pecans really stick out to me - up front and throughout along with notes of bitter dark chocolate and roasted oats/barely along with some peat from the whiskey and charred oak. Some mild hops. Molasses and caramel.
F - Full bodied with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O - A really incredible stout with a ton of nuttiness as promised.

Pretty solid beer right here. Different than previous Woot Stouts, though. This one seems lighter than its counterparts; less chocolate and coffee and more of a fruity, sugary thing going on. Still a good beer and worth seeking out. Id be interested in sampling a BA version of this.

L: Had this beer on-tap at Capital Ale House - Innsbrook, poured into a snifter glass. Had a dark brown / black color and a thick, opaque consistency. There was a quarter inch of foamy, tan-colored, somewhat long-lasting head. Fair lacing.

S: A very good aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, and some coffee.

T: Tasted of a mild amount of hops (mostly in the finish), lots of roasted malt, a little bit of coffee, lots of dark chocolate, some vanilla, a little oak, and a hint of caramel. This is a very focused and smooth flavor. It gets better as it goes along, with the oak giving it a unique character as it settles down. Pretty tasty.

F: A fair amount of carbonation with a smooth finish. Medium- to full-bodied.

O: A solidly made stout. Very much drinkable.

This beer is an odd dark brown, with a fuzzy tan head.

Smell is chocolate, roasted nuts and cashew paste with a little heat and dirty carpet, while taste starts with a sweet heat of almond liqueur then chocolate covered cherry and cola.

This is a different beer than regular W00t, weaker in flavor and aroma, ABV, and body.
