Recommended by the clerk at hop city

Can poured into pilsener glass

Two finger, sticky off white foam cap, great lacings residing over an opaque amber.

Aroma of sweet tropical hops, pineapple and ...apple?

Taste is of crackery malt, sweet tropical hops

No sudsing, no hop bite, smooth, sessionable

Good beer

Had this on draft in a pint glass, pours golden color with nice white head good lacing. Aroma is of tropical fruit pineapple/mango. Taste is very similar to the aroma tropical fruit and hops. Feel is medium body and slightly dry. Overall a solid IPA good flavors.

From a can. Cloudy amber with white head that dissipates fairly quickly. Smell is really nice resinous hops. The same dank resinous hops are in the taste along with tropical fruits and some sweetness from the malts. Nice medium body. Very good IPA overall.

Darn good IPA. Juicy with great mouth feel and undertones of pineapple and lemon. Very drinkable with no detection of 7.5%. Hope they distribute into PA soon.

Had at Savannah Taphouse, Savannah, on draft into pint tumbler.

It can be risky to brew a balanced IPA in the late ‘teens. This beer doesn’t try to knock your socks off. But this deceptive 7.50 IPA remains very interesting and drinks . . . often.

Reminds me a bit of Tropicalia but bigger and bolder. Citrusy ... at the front ... and well balanced ... as it roles to the back of the palette ... earthy ... flirting with dank (hummm ... basement?) ... proving itself in a fantastic follow-through and finish. In the words of Chris, my fellow Hop-Head (but not prone to too excess verbage): "It's fucking tasty!"

A 12oz can stampded 9/1/17

It is an orange gold. Just cloudy enough to not see through. Big off white soapy head. Pretty good retention, with a solid ring the whole way.

It smells like citrus, especially orange, with a little rind, slightly earthy/musty. Almost like a wet bread. There is some slightly spicy, piney hops, and a significant amount of grain that really smells good. Like a combo of fresh wheat and barley.

The flavor is pretty good overall, but much sweeter than I expected, and a little too much so. A bunch of mandarin orange, also some peach, a little bit of lemon juice, and a considerable amount of passion fruit/ red berry. The malts are much less noticeable than the aroma, but it is a heavier body. On the higher end for an IPA. There is some light bitterness on the back end with a bit of oil and a pithy finish.

A pretty good beer, but it is pretty sweet and I don't get much of a Citra hop impression that I just read on the back of the can.

Citrus nose. A lot like tropicalia. Not overly bitter or heavy. Good drinking IPA.

Nice 1 inch foam with long lasting lacing on my Ball beer mug. Mango apricot and slight dank nose and taste follows well. Finish is that of a hi quality craft ipa. I wish these guys luck here in ATL

It pours a very cloudy tannish orange mix, a thick healthy creamy head and lacing. I poured it a while ago and there's about a centimeter or two of foam still on it.

Smell is dank and lemony with a slight bitterness on the back end. Taste is interesting. It's got a bitter tang up front, then follows that with a juicy citrusy hoppiness. I'll be honest, it's not the best tasting beer I've had. The description says it's brewed with all citra hops, and it doesn't remind me of any other citra hop beer I've ever had. It's got a creamy and smooth feel that might be the best part of it.

Not a bad beer, but not great. I was curious about it, so I'm glad I at least got to try it.

Poured from the tap at the Yard House in Smyrna, GA. The appearance is an amber color with a medium sized white head. The aroma is citrus and pine. The taste is similar to the nose. An excellent beer
