look: 4 | smell: 4 | taste: 3.5 | feel: 3.75 | overall: 3.75
Odd oily gold body, hazy and heterogenous coloring, inch of white head
Caramel, pine, malt, citrus
Malt, biscuit, orange peel, wheat
Medium body, a little gritty
Let it be known that this six pack originally rang up at $52.99 but came down to $2.99 (!) with my kroger card. that's great savings. decent beer, well balanced, but not much character

I mean it’s fine. For me I enjoyed it and will enjoy the other five from the case but I won’t go out of my way to find it or buy again. Honestly many people love Scofflaw and I’m just kind of out on all their beers.
Tropical flavors, nice ipa taste happiness so a solid mix. Wasn’t a huge fan of the after taste or the overall taste the further I got down the can.

Excellent head production and even better retention, leaving behind wide flat fields of white lacing. Body is a pulpy, opaque, dark mango color.
Tropical and citrus hops dominate the profile, alongside grainy caramel malt. Very little suggests "wheat ale," with more of an IPA sense to the nose.
Flavor is similar: it's bright, hoppy, juicy, and lightly tangy - with a profile quite similar to Scofflaw's Basement IPA. The wheat significantly adds to the mouthfeel, though, with a smooth, lively, creamy presentation right in line with the style.

I’m not gonna get all heady about the description and mouth feel and blah blah blah. If you want a great tasting summertime citrusy beer then Scofflaw Dirty Beaches is a great choice for sharing a few with your buddies. You just can’t go wrong with Scofflaw...all their beer is delicious.

12 ounce can - $2.79 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia.
Appearance: Pours a lightly hazed, orange-gold body with a full flush and rush of off-white foam.
Smell: Tangy-scented, lightly citrusy leaning a bit citric with a note of glazed wheat and baked pear.
Taste: Pale malts and malted wheat with a pop of sweetness and a juicy, acidic, tangy pop of fruitiness on its heels. Flecks of pomelo, lemon and a nibble of passion fruit and pear. Medium bitterness. Slight, slender resiny, spicy hint creeps in. Stays a jumble of tangy fruitiness through the soft finish, still a bit bitter and with a small sense of alcohol warmth to it.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Overall: Strikes me more as an IPA with wheat in its malt bill (as so many of them do nowadays) than an easy-going albeit structured, fruit-forward wheat ale.

Reminds me a little of a Lagunitas IPA, probably use similair hopps. If you like wheats and IPAs, Dirty Beaches is thier lovechild. The floral hopps reduce the bitterness. Overall, I like it, but I don't give high score easily. I have 5 more to enjoy! Purchased 6-pack in cans at the Pig in Hoover Alabama.
