2014/2015 vintage enjoyed in 2017.
It pours a golden colour with a little white head.
Floral and a bit funky smell.
Some sourness in the taste balanced by some sweetness. Crisp, it's slightly tart and become more and more complex as it evolves in the glass. Nice champagne like mouthfeel.
Nice gueuze but not as complex as other example of the style

2011-2012

A: Big, airy white head. Golden amber color. Some visible carbonation. Poured gently to avoid any sediment.

S: Fresh lemon rind, Welch's grape juice, earthy nuttiness, Pinot Noir (reminds me of one I had recently, hence the specificity), musty basement, fresh sourdough.

M: Acqeous and effervescent.

T: Bright, pleasant acidity with notes of white vinegar and lemon juice, followed by fruitier notes of Granny Smith apple, white peach, under ripe plum, kiwi, with some earthy and funkier notes of nuttiness.

D: If I could drink this with every meal, every day for the rest of my life I would. It's not as complex or funky as the Mariage Parfait, but it's just so drinkable and approachable. If you like the flavor profile of Boon Geuze you'll enjoy this beer.

14/15 vintage.

Pours an unclear yellowish orange, very little foam.

Smell is tart with lots of Seville oranges and lemon. Just a hint of funky stables.

Taste is tart, sot sour and a bit mineraly. Hints of bitternessmingle with the lemony tartness before finishing like a dry white wine.

Mouthfeel is dry and thin.

Overall, a good, casual sour. Not nearly as complex or sour as the masters, but a nice, refreshing beer.

14/15 vintage Poured from fridge temp. Pours a golden yellow with good carbonation. Smell is beautiful funk and sour. A bit of bread and orange peel. Balance is amazing. Taste is tart and sour, with a bit of bitterness. Definite citrus peel and bread. Really smooth and a nice balance of flavors. Overall, this is a fantastic beer for the style and the price.

This one pours a light clear sunny orange, with a small head, and a good amount of lacing.

This smells fairly barrel-forward, which is nice- there's semi-sweet vanilla, light grassy funk, bright citrus, peppermint, and oak.

I had this side by side with the Mariage Parfait gueze, and this one was better. The citrus was brighter and more intense, with a warm and toasty vanilla-forward oak flavor. It's a bit less overtly funk than the Mariage Parfait.

This is light bodied, crisp and clean, and not very tart, with a good level of carbonation.

These were definitely fun to try. This was the beter of the two.

This was poured into a stange. The appearance was a hazy burnt yellow color with a one finger white foamy head that quickly dissipated and leaves no lacing. Light carbonation is seen rising at a moderate pace. The smell starts off with a sharp sweet to acidic tart cherries, light lemon and some citrus rind bitterness roll into the blend. The taste was sweet with a sticky sour fruit. Bitterness tries to pummel but slides into blend nicely. There’s no aftertaste but has a quick sweet to sour citrus finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a fairly sharp sticky citrus harshness hitting my tongue. It makes for a great session. Overall, what a wonderful lambic, fully sour and quaint enough to show wonderful flavor all around.

Look - Pours a hazy light orange, three fingers of rocky white head, great retention, no lacing, loads of carbonation.
Aroma - Green apple, hay, a bit earthy.
Taste - Crab apple, sparkling cider, sharp sour note, menthol, thin crackery malt, dry woody note that reminds me of cedar wrapped cigars, puckery finish.
Feel - Light bodied, effervescent, sharp, supremely dry.

Overall - Big fan of the wood character in this. Springtime in a bottle.
