Pours a translucent orange-copper with a finger of off-white fizzy, foam that bubbles away quickly. Aroma is stone, red grapes, plum and grassy, herbal hops. Very light lactic sour twist at the finish, but not much. Flavor profile is stone, bready, biscuity, earthy malts and grassy, herbal hops. There is a twinge of plum and red grape cutting through the mix, but it's very minor. It offers up just a twist of sourness at the finish. Mouth feel is medium-thin with a neutral, smooth texture. Overall, lightly sour with a light and balanced flavor profile for a simple geuze experience.

Hazy, golden colored body; thin yet lasting white head. Very nice lemony scent; grassy. Mild sweetness offsetting a tangy citrus flavor; fruit-like. Medium body; fizzy and dry with a tart edge.
I believe this is my first stab at this style of beer. I like it. It brings a nice blend of sweetness, tartness, and dryness to the palate and drinks easily. This bottle had the years 2014/2015 on the label.

Look: Opaque golden yellow. Head was somewhat small and thin.
Smell: Boldly sour, some goat/barnyard funky character. This is one bold beer.
Taste: I'm not going to surprise anyone if I say it tastes as it smells. Unabashedly sourr, a green taste of unripe apple and grapes compensed by a subtle goaty, sweaty in the good sense character. Perhaps a bit of grassiness too.
Feel: light bodied, very astringent.
Overall: a very good, very enjoyable gueuze.

OK this is a 2012-13 so its about 4 years old. Little dixie-cuo style clear glass taster. Overall very refreshing, not overpowering and well balanced. The sour comes late and brief. Nose is pleasant skunk. Roof of mouth more than tongue. Lace stays at 1/16" so what is more beautiful? Best appreciated by gods and idiots.
