L - dark ruby red, pinkish-white head. very inviting.
S & T - taste is slightly more sweet than the nose lets on at first, but definitely not unpleasantly so. It's definitely not one of those Krieks that are almost cassis soda pops. It is more sour, more bready, browned buttery, almost like a sour cherry pie. Very pleasant.
F - nice and spritzy.

O - not too much into the cherry beers, but this one's a winner for me. Other krieks quickly become almost soda pop like and too sweet. I like that this one was more balanced, more sour, and tasted more buttery and sour cherry pie-like than outright cassis soda.

I'd recommend it.

My favorite of the juicy sweet MOR krieks. Totally unsubtle but hot damn it tastes like cherry jolly rancher boozy soda

Magenta-red body under a fizzy pastel pink foam settling to a thin film and thick collar.

Smell is almost all cherries, a mix of black and red, evoking thick and luscious flesh, with a touch of lemon and hint of pungent oak.

Taste is very cherry juice forward. There's a little buttery crust, but it's mostly effervescent, juicy maraschino, almost exclusively, except for a slight hint of charred oak.

For being spontaneously fermented in Lambeek, it surprisingly exhibits no funk at all, and tastes like straight cherry juice.

750ml bottle with a date of 18.06.17 on the back label
Clear red/purple with a pink cap that hangs around fueled by plenty of carbonation bubbles racing up.
Red wine, cider, sour cherry.
Tart, tangy sweet cherry flavor...not super complex but really tasty.
A little north of being light bodied, medium carbonation. Cherry flavor hangs around nicely in the finish.
Fun beer,

2015 bottle, BB 12/07/2020.

Pours lovely ruby color. Translucent, but just barely. Didn't notice much yeast at the bottom, but there are more than a few floaties swirling around in the bubbles. Small pink cap leaves a little strips of lacing and sticks around.

Smells of sweet cherry juice. I don't notice any sour or tart smells.

Tastes of sweet cherry juice. No sourness, a slight tartness on the tip of the tongue. Slight oak tannins. Lively carbonation, and very fine bubbles.

Nothing at all "beery" about it. Straight sweet cherry juice, but really smooth and delicious. Really good kriek.

Poured from 375ml green bottle into glass. Best before '06/24/2019', Batch '# :53402'.
Dark brown body, ruby red when presented to light. White, purplish head, settles to thicker ring with major islands. Spots of lacing but most settles back into glass.
Aroma is sweet cherry, with sour cherry/funk/wood behind.
Taste starts with sweet cherry, followed by some vinous, sour cherry. A little woody funk way in the background.
Somewhat of a sticky sweet mouth feel, but rather dry at the end, even though some sweetness persists. Good carbonation/fizz on the tongue.
Refreshing, one-in-a-session beer, with the fruit aspect of a lambic.

This was poured into a pokal. The appearance was a dark hazy burnt red color with a slim finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipated at a nice pace. Moderate amount of lacing appeared around the glass in a messy sort of way. The smell started off with the sweet cherry side and then opened up into a lighter tart to almost sour underscore of cherries. The taste was mainly the sweet cherries flowing into a delicate sour to tartness of the cherry side. Guess the aftertaste - yup - cherries. Finish is somewhat sticky sweet through the cherries. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a great sessionability about it. Carbonation runs light - nice sweet to semi-sour/tart edge hitting my tongue underneath. Overall, damn nice lambic, I know I’d have again.

Bottle from 2013. Pours a dark somewhat opaque ruby red color with pink colored head. Cherries, lots of cherries, almost like a piece of cherry pie on the nose with just a touch of funk; follows onto the palate. Light bodied. Finishes just like a piece of cherry pie.

750ml bottle from 2013. Opaque, dark red with a lacing of bubbles. Sour cherry smell. Medium feel, only lightly carbonated. Sweet cherry flavors. I don't really detect anything else. Great if you like cherries, but there are other krieks with more lambic character.
