Bready, tart, sweet and easy drinking. Not so much my style but interesting. Bevmo Oakland March 2016

A - Murky red, burgundy colored body, with a light pink-purple head that fades quickly to wisps, and lots of lacing.

S - Juicy fruit notes, coupled with a backgrounded acidity and funk.

T - Front is all about cherry flesh and juiciness, then the fermented acidity comes out in the middle, and fades to a sweet fruity close. It is all very good, but the tilt is a bit sweet for my taste.

M - Mild carbonation and acidity are not quite enough to avoid a slightly cloying weight in the close.

O - What is good here is very good - the beer elements are subtle and yet full. The issue is that the result is too sweet for my taste. If the sweetness were a bit more subtle, I would embrace this more. That said, it is a fine example of this kind of lambic.
