L: It looks delightful, with a lovely white head. Decent lacing.

S: Smells fine for the style. Small amounts of skunk can be detected Heineken style.

T: Tastes acceptable. The light malts provide a lovely bready/hay flavor that serves as a good backbone for the slight bitterness from the hops and the detectable funk. I'm not floored, and the balance could be better.

F: Medium to high carbonation. Great for palate cleansing with a meal.

O: Ehh. If offered I'd happily drink one. It isn't bad for the style at all, but I'd sooner grab a "Belgian" produced in the US.

Clear golden with a sticky thick white top that settles round the glass. Smells medicinal herbs and bubble gummy. Thick mouth feel with flavor dominated by sweetness with medicine and herbs interlaced. Feels raw fruit like, almost sour in the palate after the sweetness subsides. Not getting what I hoped for, but not the worst I suppose.

A: Golden and mostly clear with a foamy white head.
S: Bananas and cloves.
T: Follows the nose, but with stronger banana flavor. Maybe a hint of cinnamon in the mix.
M: Certainly carbonated and medium bodied.
O: The best of this style I've had yet, but that's not saying much. I'm generally not a fan of strongly banana-flavored beers, but this one was fine.

Bananas, bananas, and more bananas. That's what this beer seems like to me. It's pleasant enough, to be sure. It's a shade sweet. It's got no discernable hops, and it's pretty one dimensional. It's better than many everyday beers in the US, but it doesn't match what I expect from Belgian ales, pale or otherwise.

Look - Pours golden in color with a finger of rocky white head that quickly dissolves, loads of carbonation.
Aroma - Wheat, mineral-like, white pepper.
Taste - Mild and sweet. Light crackery malt, hint of honey. Very mild banana towards the middle. Yeast has a dry peppery flavor like the aroma. Finishes fairly quick with a faint grainy aftertaste.
Feel - Light-Medium bodied, carbonation is on the higher side.

Overall - A very mild and clean Belgian ale, but enjoyable enough.

I smell the familiar smell of a similarly known yeast, Belgian blonde adij ale but one that gives hints of the desired taste but too little and then remains an artificial lack of taste.

Enjoying in a cafe in Paris. Only biere on the menu was Heineken, this was a much better substation. Little hit of spice, surprising little more than expected mouthfeel. Little sweetness on the finish and some mild hoppiness. Perfect for spring people watching.

Medium golden in color. Had a mild aroma that lasted. Spicy taste, likely vanilla and clove.
