From an 11.2 oz bottle dated best by 28.12.18. Clear copper color with a finger of white head. Smells of yeast and clove. Medium, slightly sticky mouthfeel. Tastes of bananas, spice, bread. On the sweet side. Similar flavor profile to a tripel, but lower ABV. A good beer, especially for the price.

Clear gold with good head. Banana and vanilla on the nose. Light malt body with Belgian yeast notes. Firm carbonation, very drinkable.

From a 75cl bottle with a champagne style cork.
L: Clear, pale copper with a massive, foaming head. Looks great in a tulip glass.
S: Yeasty & dusty. Plus banana.
T: A more malty, sweeter take on a Belgian pale ale with a soft, citrusy finish.
F: Sharp, foamy mouthfeel.
O: It's a big, global brand but it's also not half bad (especially at £3 for 75cl).

This was the first beer I was given when I turned 21 and after having several others since I can say this is still one of my favourites. Looks and feels great. Beautiful pale ale without the bitterness of an IPA that has become so popular

Beautiful transparent burnished gold brew. Strong head production and good retention.

Nice aroma, floral, bready, and sweet. Lemons, cloves, honey, grass.

A touch too sweet on the palate, nearly cloying on the finish. Pears, bananas, spices, wheat bread. Light bitterness. Long finish.

Lively and active. Not quite balanced.

Reminds me of a lower ABV Tripel.

Ok. It’s a world brand from the biggest brewing company in the world. Nevertheless, a solid Belgian abbey brew. Most of the crafted Belgian blondes are not as good. Nice head, wonderful color. The banana taste makes it remarkably special. Great beer for a reasonable price. Make sure you drink it from the right glass.

It's a nice beer. The color is beautiful, on the straw side of the BPA spectrum. The thick, white head sticks around and leaves generous lacing. It has a cool, wet and clovey nose that yields to a sweet, mildly spicy brew of caramel and banana, with a touch of citrus, spice and fresh bread. The hop finish is gentle and aftertaste pleasant and dry. Wish they sold this in larger bottles.
