murky orange fizzy cap. nose is classic gose tart w nice sweetness. coriander is there in a floral way. easy drinking and super salty but with a really nice tartness. full flavored and full bodied which is odd for the style but I like the richness. really enjoyable.

The people that think sours are great will like this, by style, this is too tart. Similar to the people who think hoppier everything is better, when it is not.
But don't get me wrong, this is an interesting brew.

Such a good summertime beer! It's better cold, when the salt isn't as powerful. This becomes more noticeable as it sweats. You can work into it like any malt though and is a good entry beer for those curious in the craft beer scene. The coriander aroma is pleasantly noticeable throughout.

Tart, Lemony, Salty, Aggressive
Cloudy, with a dirty peach hue and a short-lived lace. Choc Beer’s Gose is soft on the nose and a bit musty, yeasty, spicy, zesty and briney. Light and crisp with a sharp, acidic, lactic and puckering opening, followed by a massive lemony smack on the palate. The finish is bone dry with wheat tannins and a salty linger. It's basically like biting down on a salted lemon. The base flavors are there, and I liked it overall, but the overly-aggressive acidity overpowers the coriander and the other nuances found in this style.
As reviewed in BeerAdvocate magazine #104 (September 2015).

Cloudy amber with a small white colored head.
Smells mildly sour with lemon, coriander and toasted grain scent. Bit funky with faint horse blanket scent.
Starts out sour. Defiantly salty. Normally I don't like sour beers but this is more Margarita rim salt than spoiled bottle of beer. Think salty Berliner Weisse when you taste it.
Mouthfeel is good.
Overall a beer style few have ever tried.

This is a fantastic Gose. Before this, Westbrook was my go-to. I wish I could get this back in AL, I would take this over any other Gose I've had, no questions asked.
The look and smell are similar to WB, and the taste is too, but it's far less acidic. Still very tart, moreso than Anderson Valley's offerings, but less than WB.
This is a session Gose. An all-day-erry-day Gose. Mowing the lawn Gose.
