750 mL bottle. Cloudy orange. Smells of dynamic apricot, yogurt, rubber. Tastes of yogurt, apricot, hefty rubber, and lots of barnyard funk. Gets very weird and funky. Low carbonation. Hits with a very strong sourness. Another that isn't all that pleasant from Bokke.

Corked and capped 750ml (2018 bottling) into Zalto stemware.

Nice color with a fluffy white head. Nose is straight sweet and mildly tart apricot. Just the smallest hint of hay and cobweb funkiness. Up front pucker. Sour apricot pit and skin is very apparent. Some juiciness in the middle but this one overwhelmingly tart. I get oak, lemon, and hay towards the end. Acidic. Hair-raising aftertaste. Body is light with ample carbonation. Prickly and foamy on the palate and goes down puckering with a long, filmy aftertaste.

Once upon a time, this was a stone fruit bomb... but I don't think it's aged particularly gracefully. Open these now if you have them! The fruit is dropping out a bit and the tartness is really taking over.

Enjoyed at the 2016 Copenhagen Beer Festival in Boston, MA. Reviewed from notes.

A - Poured a wonderful slightly, slightly hazy golden apricot hue with a super thin white head that faded quickly to leave light wisps.

S - Very nice aromas of fresh apricots with a little bit of generic stone fruit pit. Very nice funk here, barnyard funk not cheesy.

T - Taste is similar to the nose. Just huge juicy apricots, fresh like apricot juice. The funk levels are really great. Nice oak notes as well, maybe a little vanilla. Incredibly well balanced.

M - Mouthfeel is nice and crisp, slightly flemmy.

O - Overall this was an incredibly well balanced beer. Excellent apricot notes with just the perfect amount of funk on the taste. Very well done.

Oude Pizza meets its maker. Bottle at NotGT, ME 2017.

A- Cloudy golden orange body poured from the 750ml to a few sampling glasses. A one finger, foamy thick white head ascends atop the beer with good retention. Spotty lacing with few larger webs.

S- Apricots and amazing lambic funk. Character of both young and old lambic with some sulfur, barnyard, cherry pie, big lactic acid, basement must and juicy fresh apricots. Man that's a lot of apricots, and really fresh and aromatic ones.

T- Sour apricots and amazing lambic base. Funky fruits, lactic lemon, wet vinous oak wood, vanilla sweets, juicy amazing apricots fresh, a hint of acetic and musty basement funk. The dynamic between the lambic and fruit is utterly a marriage made in heaven. Pit and flesh are both bright and bold, earthy.

MF- Slick light end body with medium carbonation. Fluffy silky smooth textures. Battery acid sourness for days.

Raf has some good raspberries but damn he must have found apricots to die for. The Bokkereyder guys said this one was coming into it's own lately and it shows.

Pale yellowish orange, with frothy lacing around the edges.

Fresh fuzzy apricot aroma, juicy and ripe. Undercurrent of wet wood and lambic funk seals the deal.

Intense fresh apricot taste, tart and puckering with a great depth and complexity from the lambic blend. Light notes of apricot, lemon, cheese rind, and dry oak in the finish. Light to medium bodied with ample carbonation. Tart and juicy, nuanced funk, bursting with fresh apricot. Restrained sourness and well balanced. Dare I say, this is up there with Fou Foune and possibly better.

Delicious apricot flavors. Fruit juice and sour. Nice funk, but mainly fruit and sour. Lemon acidity. Apricot pits.

Juicy and tart feel. Lighter bodied. Nice carbonation and feel.

I prefer this to some of the newer batches of fou. It is extremely juicy. Maybe a tad too tart for my liking.

I had the guy at koelship with the brewer's best friend. A few things needed to be noted. This beer is oak aged and not wine barrel aged .

It uses specifically tart apricots from Belgium and whole Portuguese corks.

This beer is legit. Pour apricot nose that finished in a hazy orange color.

The beer is very well balanced for a young gueuze. The fruit takes over the beer, but it's not sweet. You taste all of the apricot and you don't know if the tartness is from the fruit or the gueuze. It's an amazing beer
