hops Saaz, Hallertau, Riwaka. IBU 20-25, 4.5 Abv
Pours a pale straw with slight haze. 2 inch head fades quickly.
Smells of cereal and grass.
Tastes of pale malts, some citrus and noble hops.
Feel is very interesting with forward carbonation, lots of body, great thirst quenching and subtle fruitiness.
Well worth a try.

Slightly veiled straw color with low activity. Foamy white 3-4 finger head, lasting around 10 minutes, weak legs but decent swirl reaction. Flavors of cabbage, sweet grains, lemon, light grapefruits, and noble hops. Slick medium to full body with prickly carbonation. Light strength finish, quite fruity, but mostly a cereal feel with some vegetables and flowers. Slightly tropical, unusual for the style but it's branded as non traditional so definitely more interesting than a regular Pils. Good freshness while a little sour. Overall very good quality craft.

Can: Poured a golden color pilsner with a generous foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of light cereal notes with dry hops with light fruity undertones. Taste is dominated by NZ hops notes of fruits with some light dry Nobel hops notes. Cereal notes are very subtle. Body is full with good carbonation. Very enjoyable pilsner but Rikawa hops kind of take this away from the style staple.

Service: Can
Canned: No date, but fresh.
A:
Pours a hazy golden chamomile with three fingers of soapy, bone-white head that settles to a little island. Meh retention: soapy lacing. (3.75)
S:
Ślightly soapy with some bracing minerals, hay and a bit of hop spice. (3.75)
T:
Intermingling cereals and earthy hops with a light citrusy aroma. (3.75)
M:
Mediumish body, chewy-ish, lazy but active carbonation, nice mineral/hop bite in the finish, not as clean as I'd expected it to be. (3.75)
O:
A pretty tasty beer from the (or one of) the newest breweries that I am aware of.
Fleeting beauty for at least the first minute or so. The aroma and flavor are about what you would expect from a pils; featuring a strong malt body and complimentary hops. It is fairly well-balanced but is a little heavy for my tastes in a beer like this. Still and all, solidly made and tasty. Also, it has a fabulous body for something with such a low ABV, in my opinion. Nice beer. I look forward to trying other things from these guys. (3.75)
