Body is a light orange like rich apricots but a little desaturized. Copmletely opaque, but doesn't appear particularly thick. Decent little white head that settles down to the ring and light dusting classic. Decent lacing.

Nose is the NE style tropical fruit sweetness. Some light citrus in there as well. Mostly pineapple and mango but doesn't feel like I'm just sniffing a can of juice. A touch of orange and a faint spicy note. Touch of grains running underneath but only catchable at the very edges.

Pleasant bitterness to begin... then it continues more earthy and bitter than I was expecting. Personally I dig it, but I'm not getting the NEIPA descriptors some others seem to describe. It's possible the can had been sitting for a while before I picked it up, but since there's no date anywhere on the can I can only review it as it is.
Dull bitter throughout, but not any sort of tongue buckler or anything. Some orange, some earthy pith. Some of that same hint of like... a baking spice or something peeking around the corner. But I get that sometimes in orange juice so maybe that's a me thing.

Incredibly creamy and smoothe. Kind of numbs/coats the tongue, but not in an unpleasant way.
As someone who's not really into the whole hazy craze I enjoy this. Glad to have grabbed a can when I was in Phoenix.

Picked up a 16 oz single from the Craft Beer Hop Stop 12-1-18. Canned in mid November and received at Hop Stop 11-196-18. Consumed 1-13-19; cold stored since purchase.

Beer poured a cloudy golden orange with a nice white head with good hang time.

Nose is fresh orange and mango forward, very nice.

Taste is orange and mango forward with a very light touch of citrus peel to provide a light touch of balancing bitterness.

Mouthfeel is light and very refreshing.

Overall this is an excellent IPA, glad i finally go to try it!

Pours a very hazy deep orange with a small white head. Smells of juice, hops, and tropical fruits. Tastes of tropical fruits, stone fruit, citrus, fresh a slightly bitter hops, and a light maltiness. Medium-heavy body with medium carbonation. Overall a delicious hazy IPA.

I’ve gotta say I’m surprised. Living in the northeast and having regular access to Treehouse and Trillium, I am always leery when I get IPAs from other regions. This is good though! A step below those places for sure but a darn good IPA!

Fantastic. This is what hazy IPAs should be. A balanced sweetness and light bitterness, strong fruit esters (melon, overripe tropical fruit, orange), lighty herbal/dank notes. Similar nose and palate, though I find the nose particularly enjoyable. Juicy body that doesn't get lost in trying to prove its haziness -- still enough dryness to satisfy. Does everything to confirm my sense that hazy hops are at their best in the pale ale - IPA range, where they don't get weighted down by the extra alcohol/sweetness/heaviness that tend to come as you veer into DIPAs. Definitely the best beer I've had from Tombstone.

Overall very very good, I was told at the store (was there when the 16oz cans were delivered) that they were canned 2 days prior. Beautiful unfiltered IPA with thin white head. Great aroma, worth a try if you can manage to find it

On tap at Smoke and Barrel. This beer was a revelation for me during Savor 2017.

Appearance: Pours a hazed out bright orange. Hazy, but not milky or turbid. Solid head with good retention and spotty dots and sheets of lacing.

Smell: Really impressive aroma. The interaction of the Citra and Amarillo with the peachy, tropical yeast esters is outstanding. Massive orange citrus akin to tangerine. Intensely fruity, tropical, and citrusy. A hint of floral character but almost nothing I'd describe as dank.

Taste: Fruit and citrus overload. Again, the yeast and hop character do a masterful job of playing together here. Layers of peach, tropical fruit, orange citrus move across the palate. Very creamy mouthfeel which helps to elevate everything. The slightest hint of sweet malt character moves in toward the finish. Very low bitterness.

Feel: The mouthfeel of a NE-style IPA but with diminished sweetness, which is great for me. Rich and creamy, but never loses an incredible drinkability.

Overall: This is what the NE-style IPA was meant for. The estery yeast, haze, and low bitterness all have a purpose - they enhance and amplify the massive hop flavor and aroma, without taxing the palate. So well done.
