Triple IPA With Citra, Idaho 7, And StrataTriple IPA With Citra, Idaho 7, And Strata
Notes: Smooth and drinkable yet intense and complex, this hazy, juicy Triple IPA bursts with notes of passion fruit, citrus, mango, pineapple, and peach, all thanks to a ludicrous amount of the finest Citra, Idaho 7, and Strata hops we could find.

Picked up a single from the Kings Beer & Wine cooler 7-22-20 for $5.19. Canned 7-18-20; consumed 9-24-20. Cold stored since purchase.

Beer poured a hazy light orange with a nice white head with the original pour.

Nose has a nice dose of tropical, citrus, and stone fruit.

Taste is very flavorful with peach, mango, and orange coming across nicely on top of the large but light but substantial malt base. Finishes with a nice grapefruit rind bitterness; 6/10 on my scale.

Mouthfeel is superb, so light and refreshing for a whopper of a beer.

Overall another outstanding TIPA from TBC!

Pours a paler shade of yellow with a finger of quickly dissipating soapy head. The sheer haziness of this is chicken gravy level status.

Nose is a complex array. A little difficult to distinguish. Grassy hop quality up front. Some fruit notes. Pineapple and citrus primarily. Booze comes through slightly.

Taste is definitely more expressive. Pineapple, citrus, peach, passion fruit, melon. There is a lot going on here. So much hop presence it almost seems like it creates a savory quality. But it is balanced. Medium bitterness, almost no hop burn. This reminds quite a bit like Drawn And Quartered by Nightmare. Big, bold, complex and yet somehow amazingly balanced.

Mouthfeel is medium bodied with mild carbonation. Drinkable.

Overall a great Triple IPA. It can be tricky making a really balanced TIPA but this was done quite well. First brew I've had by Tombstone. Good introduction.

My first beer from Tombstone over in Arizona. The Triple IPA has a deep sense of resin and it is very creamy. The fruit notes mentioned don't really come through. Perfect for a hop head.

Super hazy yellow body with a creamy white cap and moderate lacing. Lime, mango, pineapple, cactus fruit, honeydew, and grapefruit with dry yet vibrant hop bitters. Taste has so much going on, yet does become an unnecessarily sweet or resinous triple ipa, great job with that! Add notes of dankness to the hops, onion, lychee, lemon seed and overripe dragonfruit. Feel is the true masterpiece of this beer: dry and soft without losing the juicy fruit balance, bright yet not airy instead full and dank. Most control and textured triple ipa in a long time. A wonderful debut

A: The beer is very hazy and a bit cloudy in color. It poured with a short white head that left a narrow collar around the edge and a thin layer of bubbles overing the surface.
S: Moderate aromas of lime citrus are present in the nose.
T: The taste has flavors of gooseberries and lime along with notes of peach and hints of lychee and stone fruit.
M: It feels medium-bodied and juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This New England IPA is bursting with lots of complex flavors of hops. It does a very good job at masking most of the alcohol from the taste and seems more like an 8% abv beer than a 10% abv beer.

Look: Opaque and cloudy pale gold color. Off white, densely packed head that sticks around nicely. Nice head retention. A great looking NEIPA.

I won’t cop out of a review, but the can description is spot on. That’s not always the case.

Nose: A lot of Citra when I crack the can. Ripe and sweet mango, pineapple and peach. Very nice. Some sweet, bready and grainy notes. Notably, zero indications of the 10% ABV.

Taste: Sweet, tropical fruit up front. Mango, orange, pineapple, lemony pith, watermelon rind (the white part). The end has some bitterness which makes for a nice finish and added complexity.

The first sip I took had a very unique flavor on the finish. It was play-doh like. It wasn’t offputting, but odd. Just a flash. Seems gone now that I’m half way through, but there’s still something that’s savory and I think it’s the Citra.

Feel: I think you can tell it’s a high ABV beer as there’s some warmth, but this beer is highly drinkable for 10%. Very smooth, light bodied and soft.

Overall: An excellent 10% hazy and juicy IPA. I don’t drink many double digit IPA’s. I’ve become more fond of them with the rise in popularity of hazy and juicy IPA’s, and this one is a very good example. But for the gentle warmth on the palate you’d never know.

16oz can into a pint glass. NO freshness dating. Tavour shipment.

Looks very good in the glass. Standard orange juice body. Small bright white head persists in decent form throughout leaving some nice lacing, Impressive considering the abv.

Getting some mango on the nose, more of a non citrus than citrus aroma.

Great tasting beer. Fruit aromas abound, non citrus edging out the citrus. Good hop taste with a slightly more than usual bitter touch. Extremely smooth and drinkable beer.

Mouth closing in on full, finish clean, fruity with a hoppy bitterness right at the end. The abv is well nigh invisible.

Overall, an outstanding triple ipa. You drink it way faster than you should.

A: Hazy yellow gold with rich white foamy head and sticky lacing.
N: Peaches, grapefruit, mango, and pineapple notes.
T: Follows the nose, lots of peach and mango mixed with pineapple. Soft grapefruit dryness/bitter mixed in.
M: Clean and refreshing beer, zero ABV feel for 10%.
O: Outstanding Triple NEIPA, beyond smooth and flavorful.
