The colour is gold, the liquid slightly hazy. The two finger head is white and compact; it sinks slowly leaving some lacing on the glass.
The smell is hoppy with notes of grapefruits, green plants and bitter herbs. Not as much citric notes as I had expected. Sweet notes of almonds and cookie dough.
The taste is quite bitter with passing grapefruits and lime peels. Sweet notes of orange juice and cookie dough. It is quite thin for a 7% IPA. Light to medium body. Growing alcohol in the aftertaste as well as dried fruits, bitter almonds and leather. The finish is light with some orange juice and alcohol.
The carbonation is medium to strong, the small bubbles are fresh and long-lived. The liquid is semi-smooth.
Old and oxidized.
