Not a bad IPA but not the best. Short Fuse has way better offerings. I also wanted to address all the reviews that mention a lack of date on the can, while true, they almost always have the date sticker on the plastic 6 pak holder.

Had on tap. This was odd in that there was plenty hops, but the rest of the beer didn't feel prepared for it. The body was thin and did not help the hops have substance in the finish beyond airy. Carbonation was sneaky high too. The smell had sweet tropical fruits with the dank hops, but they seemed to clash and had distinct areas to themselves in the sniff. Taste was overly sweet fruit and malt before giving way to airy hops. Meh

Overall a malt bomb, with little to no hop aroma, taste, or mouthfeel, almost a drain pour

I got this off the single shelf from the Montgomery Binnys and tried it at my old neighbor house. It poured a slightly hazy copper with white head that is not leaving any lace. The scent had bitter citrus. The taste was bitter leaning and not overly easy to drink. The mouthfeel was medium in body with good carbonation. Overall it was an ok beer.

12oz can, no apparent freshness date. This is the Mosaic and Galaxy dry hopped version. Thanks to my friend, Derek, for giving me a can to try. Copper colored ale with a frothy ivory head that slowly fades to a foam leaving some thin lacing on the glass. Juicy and tropical aroma with some light caramel malt; some sort of spicy & piney harshness with a big sniff. Juicy hop flavors: mango, orange, grapefruit, lemongrass, earthy & spicy pine; caramel malt backbone; I do sense some very faint off-notes but I can't place it. Medium body, creamy and resinous, bittersweet finish. Not a bad IPA and it's got some good flavors with nice Mosaic and Galaxy hop accentuation with the dry hopping.

From a can, no noticeable date. Pours a foggy orange with a decent head but it doesn't last, nice lacing. More of a malt aroma. Flavor has some citrus, and a malty backbone. Medium body, nicely carbonated. I've never heard of, or seen anything from Short fuse before. I don't know how fresh this is, but it has potential.

Taste: crisp, floral, hops, some white pepper spice, some bitter, clean finish. Same with the nose. Gold, very clear, with white head and rings of lattice of lace. Medium body. A kinda balanced by a malt backbone. 60 IBUs
