Had a chance to visit the new WhichCraft Tap & Bottle shop during a trip to Austin. It has the excellent beer selection of the S Lamar store, with the awesome addition of a taproom! So many beers to choose from; now you can drink a brew while perusing the selection. For someone like me, coming from out of state, the variety of local brew single cans & bottles is perfect; it allows me to sample a large number of beers from the mushrooming number of Texas breweries. This place will be on my 'must visit' list whenever I come to Austin.

WhichCraft has a great selection of beer from Texas, the US, and some from Europe. There are 30 taps of mostly beer and some cider. They serve coffee, sandwiches, and breakfast tacos but I have not had any. It's clean, and family friendly. The staff have given me good beer recommendations. They have $6.99 Six-Packs for their Texas brewery of the month deal with three different beers from one Texas brewery. If the local grocery store, HEB, has the same Six-Packs, they cost $8.99. Once I bought all three of the Texas brewery of the month Six-Packs from WhichCraft. The total with tax was only $22.70!

Nothing on tap here, to go only. I was disappointed to find this out as I was drawn by ads for drinking some beer. Apparently they were only for their other location. still a cool place to shop (well, except for parking), Great selection! just don't expect to have a beer while you're there.

Stopped on Beer Safari to fill my suitcase with Texas brews, and Jodie walked me shelf by shelf. Great questions and recommendations. Soon had a great mix from Austin and otherwise Texas. Lots of good young breweries here and well represented at WC.
Had called pre travel to check some things and had a quick great helpful conversation with Amanda. Was nice to meet her in person.
The place itself is great. Well curated shelfs; great tap selection- pours; growlers and crowlers. Love the crowlers and made sure to grab at least one for the suitcase. Even had a Founders tasting going on.
Just what you want for Beer... and definitely for the people.
