Photon is our light and crushable American Pale Ale loaded with pacific northwest hops. It pours a very hazy orange, releasing well-blended notes of apricot, tangerine, peach, mango, and pineapple. It tastes of soft juicy tropical fruits, hop resins, and a hint of biscuit. A smooth rounded bitterness with a touch of dryness ensures you’re ready for the next sip. This drinking experience is further enhanced with a soft and billowy mouth-feel that has made this the go to ale for the EQ crew, especially when a productive day needs to follow a fun night.

Got this in a trade for some Jersey Girl Rake Breaker from a co-worker in Ct. Poured a hazy golden color into a Samuel Smith Imperial pint glass with minimal white head and spotty lacing. Aroma of tropical fruit and malty biscuit abound. Taste follows nose with a rounded bitterness up front and a semi-sweet dry malty finish. Light in body and a billowy mouth make this very drinkable. Stellar offering form the brewers @ Equilibrium.

16oz can into a pint glass. Coding hard to decipher, could be 3 months old.
Nice looking beer. Thick pale orange body, persistent fluffy white head leaves very attractive lacing. Tropical fruit aroma carries over into the taste, slightly sweet, with a featherlight bitter touch.

I got a can of this beer from my bestie from Charlotte, NC whom got it from a beer of the month club mixed pack. It poured a hazy golden with white head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had pineapple and mango notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright sweet malt base with dank tropical citrus fruit presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

On draft, served in shaker pint glass
Hazy opaque pale yellow in color, white head. Nice well rounded fruity hop aroma. Similar taste, a touch sweet but a drier finish. Softer mouthfeel but a little thin

Pours a hazy gold with a pinky of cream colored head. Great head retention & lacing
S: Citrus & tropical fruit, nectarines
T: Pomelo, dryness, green melon & leafy hops up front, plus guava. Passion fruit, green melon & guava, plus lime as this beer warms up. Finishes with green melon, lime, passion fruit & dryness
MF: Medium body, creamy carbonation, good balance
This beer gets better as it warms up, pretty drinkable

Another Equilibrium beer on the review desk tonight. I served the beer at around 44 degrees using a pint glass from Live Oak. The pour created this massive three-fingered off-whited, frothy, airy head with excellent retention. The retention is excellent; slowly dissipating leaves lots of lacing on the glass. The clarity is hazy, with lots of yeast and carbonation bubbles visible—pale straw with light golden yellow, charts around SRM 4. Overall the appearance is excellent.
Nosing the glass, I smell pineapple, peaches, juicy oranges, biscuits, crackers, lightly floral, grassy apricots, and a hint of melon.
I taste tangerines, peaches, apricots, mangos, juicy pineapple, biscuits, crackers, floral, grass, a hint of melon, crackers, and a touch dank.
The mouthfeel is soft and somewhat astringent, finishing dry. The body is medium and has medium carbonation.
This beer surprised me; this is loaded with flavor and slight alcohol. The hop profile is fantastic and with a refreshing finish. Stellar beer; I wonder why the reviews are terrible.

16oz can.
L: Opaque, very dark yellow/orange colour with a massive, off-white head that collapses slowly to a lumpy cap.
S: Overripe tropical fruit.
T: Subtly dank mango. Astringent bitterness.
F: Mouth-puckering.
O: This is a session strength NEIPA that, I’m guessing, is dry-hopped to within an inch of its life. Looks and tastes like mango juice but is very, very dry. The overriding characteristic is hop burn. Zero refreshment.

Aroma is citrus/lemon/fruit, malts and mild sweetness. The flavor is fruit/citrus/lemon/peel, malts, a small hint of soap and a hoppy/mildly sweet finish.
