Style: American Double / Imperial IPA

Alcohol by volume (ABV): 8.00%

Availability: Limited (brewed once)

Notes / Commercial Description:
Collab with District 96 Beer Factory. Sexual Fluctuation is a Citra/Galaxy blend. It pours a hazy tangerine orange and releases releasing aromas of passion fruit, peach, lime, and pineapple all integrated with a juicy twist. The taste is a bright creamy tropical sorbet flavor that is dangerously drinkable and balanced. This beer takes dHop5’s lunch money and gives it a wedgie.

Another winner from Equilibrium. Pours a nice golden/orange color. Nice aroma though not overwhelming. Very nice citrus/hop hit up front and wonderful flavor on the back end. Excellent beer, tasty and yet smooth and easy to drink. Cheers

Please pardon the overabundance of words in this review, I'm a bit excited as this is one of the best NEIPA I've ever tasted.

It is turbid light tan color, and there are a few small chunks too. A beautiful big three finger off white topper hangs for a good while. When it retreats there is thick lace upon the glass that gives me the thought to swirl my finger, gather it up, and eat it like hops cotton candy. Is it a beautiful crystal clear gem of a beer like some WCIPA? Absolutely not. But this is beautiful because you can see in the murk just how fucking delicious it's gonna be when it gets into mouth.

Aroma jumped out of the can the instant it was opened. It bursts out of the glass. What a pleasure to smell. Sweet orange, grapefruit, citrus pith, pineapple, mango, so many fruity notes and behind it a floral sweet and generous complement of citrus bitter. The beauty this creates in the nasal receptors and pleasure centers of my mind is impossible to exaggerate, I literally cannot stop sniffing, though an equally strong urge to drink threatens to overcome it with each inhale.

At last, no disappointment here, extremely full flavored, it is a rush of both crisp grain and doughy sweet notes carrying wonderful fruit, floral, all the flavors in the aroma, a crash of them upon senses, and finally exquisite light herbal bitter and pith hits into the sip at just the right moment to add the finishing touches to the best flavors I can imagine NEIPA able to have. It is a cavalcade of citrus and tropical goodness that feautures different flavors as it warms and opens, all balanced so well! I am afraid this description won't do this beer justice. I am afraid there are folks who will read it and think perhaps I am exaggerating how good it is compared to others. I had this beer yesterday next to the greatest in the style and now I am enjoying it at home on a clear palate and mind. This is a next step in NEIPA evolution.

And if you think this beer is one of the best NEIPA I ever have tasted due to the aroma, and taste, you'd be right, but it's mouthfeel that allows it do all that. Low carb. just enough spritz without being at all carbonic, highly thick, med. viscous, extremely soft on palate, not at all watery, exquisite linger that has clean bitter that drives this machine off the ramp and flies it into insane goodness. Zero alc. presence.

Overall experience of this beer is that I am in awe of what I have just experienced, and can't wait to try another one. This is just stupid fucking good. Get it if you can pry it from the hands of friends lucky enough to have some.

Crowler purchased at the source at last Saturday's release.

Typical solid, EQ kinda NEIPA pour, thick squash soup in color and cloudiness, leaves a load of fine lacing all over the glass. Great looking beer.

Over ripe sniff, loaded with tropical goodness.

Creamy and smooth mouthfeel.

Oranges, pineapple, mango, kiwi, all coming to mind as this flows into and through the mouth.....delicious, inviting and thoroughly enjoyable....

This is damn good. Would I chase it? Yes. Would I remember why I'm chasing? No.
