This beer is as good as any Treehouse IPA. Extremely drinkable even at 10.2% ABV. Drank at Dive Bar 106 in NYC on tap on 11/5/18.

L: Golden orange cloudy pour

S: Light smells of tropical fruit and hops as well as citrus.

T: Reminds me of a Treehouse Julius, but better! Tastes of citrus and hops. Very smooth and drinkable.

M: Extremely smooth and not harsh like some NE IPAs. Balanced and smooth mouthfeel with no bitter aftertaste.

O: Amazing beer. Citrus combined with hops and not overly bitter. Go Equilibrium! Now I need to visit the brewery!!

L - almost grabbed this one on a casual Thursday night... and then I saw the ABV. Ok, maybe tomorrow night. Well, here we are... pours a thick, hazy, dark mango juice. Brownish, reddish orange with a leggy head.

S - not a hint of booze. Smooth pineapple creamsicle and mango melon dream. Honey with a hint of oniony grapefruit rind. Just a sweltering aroma.

T - wow! Peach out of nowhere! Incredibly bright with probably the most tropical fruit salad flavor I've seen in a TIPA. Kiwi, cantaloupe, ripe mango, and sugary Hawaiian fruit out the wazoo. Strawberry banana, not so much in flavor, but in sheer, unabashed fruity fullness and deliciousness. Hints of toasty oat acidity in true EQ fashion, but juice dominates completely here. Very little aftertaste or bitterness in the finish, this is a dessert beer for the ages.

F - bright, fluffy, and to the point. Does not feel like 10% at all. This is amazing. Drinks like a DIPA teetering toward single IPA. If I had more than one of these, I might die tonight.

O - this one's not even fair. Fun beer, balls to the wall with NEIPA juice. No bitterness, no shame, just disgusting deliciousness. I hate that I love this because it makes me question whether I actually like beer or just fruit juice with alcohol.

Tall can - Oct 052018

Nice looking NEIPA, squash soup pour, dark khaki cap and leaves super fine sheeting.

Tropical fruit sniff, ripe pineapple abounding.

This is more stunningly delicious and well crafted brew from EQ....soft and fruit juicy, with waves of ripe pineapple, mango, oranges and assorted tropical fruit stuff!

Canned on 10/5/18; consumed on 10/13/18. Can purchased at event held at Lost and Found in Albany. Can describes it as a Triple IPA, so I've listed it here as an American Imperial IPA, though I guess you could also call it a NE IPA.

A: Poured into a Piraat tulip/snifter-type glass. Body is hazy dark golden-orange with a small white head on top.

S: Smells like a juicy NE-Style IPA: juicy hops with tropical fruit (pineapple, ripe melon) and citrus peel over a bit of sweet malt.

T: Definitely juicy. Sweeter tropical fruit dominates: overripe melons, mango, some pineapple. Oranges & tangerines there too. That 10.2% ABV is not at all noted on the palate, except as a bit of a warming sensation on the aftertaste and in the belly. Drinks more like a 7-8% beer in that regard.

M: Smooth in feel - i.e., it's not "pulpy" or harsh like some NE-style IPAs - but pretty full in body/heft.

O: Very good stuff. I'd like a bit of bitterness to offset the sweetness, but that's a personal preference, and I can't quibble with the results Equilibrium has come up with here.
