Four Fours is based on the popular mathematical pastime that uses exactly four 4's to form every integer from 0 to 50 using only standard mathematical operators such as: +, −, ×, /, and, √. Getting everyone together to make one of our biggest collabs yet involved piecing together some of our favorite ingredients in new ways and we’re happy to report that both the math in the beer and on label check out.
We started with a heavy base of oats and wheat before the Idaho7, Citra, and Citra Incognito whirlpool. We then dry-hopped with 4 of our favorite hops at levels never seen before with Citra, Strata, Galaxy, and Zappa. Dense haze pours into your glass with aromas of tropical mango, orange tang, assorted berry, and grape drink. Hoppy saturated flavors of dank mango orange juice smoothie, papaya chunks, and green nerds candy are balanced by a hoppy bite and giant #EQjuice melon finish bringing you right to your next sip. The glass gets emptied quickly so we recommend you pause the puzzle solving while enjoying our latest banger!

Huge mango notes on the nose right off the bat. Papaya and citrus follow closely, while the palate brings in more of an herbaceous hop bite, red berries, and a mild resiny bitterness. The oats add a great smoothness to the profile. A great collab.

A: The beer is very hazy to cloudy whitish yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that left a patch of bubbles on the surface, a narrow collar around the edge and lots of lacy rings of bubbles around the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of lime, lychee and honeydew melon are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has little to no bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: The ingredients in this IPA really mesh well together.

Poured from a can dated 7/06/22 into a teku. Pours a hazy/murky muted gold. Very mild ripe tropical fruit with some citrus. Taste is a bitter tartness up front which gives way to a rather nice juicy and hoppy flavor. Smooth mouthfeel with a little nip. Overall, I really like this and ha exceedingly high expectations considering the breweries involved.

Collaboration with Other Half, JW Wakefield and Vitamin Sea. Has a creamy feel due to the wheat and oats. Not too bitter and a bit of mango and melon flavor. Very drinkable for high abv beer.
