The colour is gold, the liquid clear. The finger thick head sinks down to a tin lid leaving some thick lacing.
The smell is buttery with some wet paper and dried orange peel. It is quite tired and frowsy.
The taste is malty with passing dried fruits, cream candy and a touch of leather. High alcohols in the background. Medium body. The aftertaste got some chemical bitterness, overripe fruits and a touch of salty seaweed. Alcohol, margarine and old bread in the finish.
The carbonation is light, the small bubbles smooth and long-lived. The liquid is semi-thick and sticky.
Old (best before date: Mars 28th 2018). Tired. Almost off.
