This review is during CoVid and includes comments about their adaptation to that. They expanded the outdoor patio into parking, but added fake grass to dress it up a bit. The new picnic tables are plastic which makes them easy to clean., I saw staff regularly cleaning empty tables and stools. The staff are among the best I have encountered. They will be generous with the number of samples you need to make your beer selection, they are prompt and attentive without being clingy. They track orders and costs on tablets and very easily divide up the bill any way you want (by percent or by item or???) They process the bill at tableside so you never lose track of your credit card. They also know their beers. Pints cost $5-8. The day I was there they had a decent selection of 12 beers including pilsner, red, 2 stouts, 2 hazy IPA, a pale, a Scottish amber, an Octoberfest, a raspberry Berliner Weisse, 2 American IPAs. Beer menu descriptions include the ABV and the hop mix but nothing else. This is CA under pandemic restrictions, so you have to order food with your beer, but they make it easy....they tack a $5 voucher for the nearby food truck right onto your table beer order and that qualifies as "ordering food". (The food trucks change. The day we were there we had some great roasted Italian veggies for our $5). I had two pints and three tastes and I would consider all of them to be in the 86-91 point range. In better times when you can sit inside you can bring your own vinyl to be played on their turntable. Inside seating is also mostly at picnic tables, as I recall. This is not the place you will find by driving by. You have to know where it is and be looking for it. Therefore it is mostly locals and beer aficionados, rather than casual drinkers/tourists.

Stereo Brewing is located in an industrial area of Placentia. Once you enter it is a nice and clean tasting room. Interior design is modern and open with lots of tables, benches, and seats. You can see the production area through a window near the back which I think is a nice touch.
They had about 15 beers on tap. I had a couple of Berliner Weisse tasters and a ginger wheat. The Berliner Weisses were good.
It's little far from my home for regular visits, but I can see Stereo being a good local hangout for friends to enjoy conversations over beer. I enjoyed my visit.
