Poured into a tulip, the appearance was a rustic bronzed yellow to almost copper color veiled by finger and a half's worth of white foamy head softly dissolving to leave a small ring of lace. This ended up spreading out into delicate spider web glossings.
The aroma had some shaved lemon peel, touch of apple cider, green apple skin, basement/cement (fresh/clean) and some smooth sweet funk-like floral/oaky character.
The flavor had an absolute wonderful blend of funky to floral to oaky and apple skin sour to tart character all melding together. Quick aftertaste of clean basement, apple skin and shaved lemon peel.
The mouthfeel was between light and medium bodied with a fair sipping quality about it. Some dry sour to tart harshness squashes my tongue appropriately. Good carbonation. Super nice finish of cement, funk, floral and apple cider vinegar.
Overall, might be more of an American wild ale with more of a sour element to it, but I didn't mind, I'd still have this again.

375 ml. bottle.
Moderate to vigorous pour yields a one (+) inch white head over a slightly hazy, golden straw body with some lacing. Wonderful nose of all the funk (cellar floor and blue cheese, especially), with a bit of citrus and wet leaves for good measure. Taste mirrors nose very well with a gentle, lemony finish and a slight bitterness from the whole cone hops. Very nice feel and overall, a beautiful beer from Greensboro Bend, VT. Cheers to Vasili for yet another job well done!
