Pours a light orange color, slightly hazy, with a two finger fluffy foam. Aroma is citrus, grapefruit and honestly, vanilla (???). Taste follows, with an additional sweetness that is very pleasant and unexpected. Carbonation is moderate. One of the most interesting IIPA's in my recent memory that is easy to drink and very pleasant.

Can to tulip glass.
LOOK: full yellow, light haze, big foamy eggshell head, good retention.
AROMA: lactose and vanilla pop in early like cookie dough, some pineapple and orange waft in and stay also.
TASTE: not as delightful as the aroma, but tasty. fruity, but its not the pineapple I smelled...maybe a touch of orange with some grapefruit and something that tastes like a sweeter version of celery. A little chemical bite in the middle of the palate, but not huge, just a passing off-flavor.
FEEL: light to medium body, very good carbonation.
Overall, it's another solid beer from Icarus.

a: hazy orange juice color with a kiss of yellow in there. poured a 1 finger frothy off-white head, but that fades quickly
s: pineapple, papaya, and some dank grass. mango, dragonfruit, and creamsicle. sweet peach cobbler, strawberry and a touch of brown sugar. biscuity backbone in here
t: sweet than the nose indicated. sweet orange juice upfront. strawberries, sweet mango, and candi sugar/lactose. fluffy dragonfruit and juicy peach. a nice hit of sweet grapefruit at the end here...that's nice. some oats and wheat as well in here
m: heavier side of medium mouthfeel, bumped up since it's wheated and oated. medium carbonation
o: pretty tasty NEDIPA. it's definitely sweet, and the lactose makes itself known for sure. not as sticky as a lot of DIPA's out there. this drinks much easier than 8.1%

Pours hazy yellow with a thick white head. Not much aroma, but mild tropical fruit. Taste is mild hoppy and sweet. Feel is excellent, oats doing their thing. Overall it's interesting and drinkable. Cheers.

Shared this IPA with my wife, who is not an IPA fan traditionally. But the lactose cuts the hop bitterness way, way down, leaving a gentle hop-nuanced and smooth IPA. And the 8.1 abv is very well-disguised.
