A nominal good example of the style despite it's ABV being way too high for a "light" beer.

Smell is nothing much.

Taste is initially a slight apple flavor. Following taste is not much of anything, but no unpleasant chemical bitterness. Tastes like a fairly good light lager and you won't detect the booze.

Very light bodied and extremely clean finish.

For a 99 cent tallboy, definitely worth a try, but it is very bland even compared to the malt liquor and ice beers in this bracket. No one will be grossed out by this beer.

A good light lager. Better than expected. As lagers go this beer turned out to be better than expected. The look is a light, pale wheat color. Very clear. The smell is minimal but floral. The taste was good, light, not overly watery; and the taste does linger. The feel builds slowly. It is a refreshing beer where the alcohol is not overpowering but a gives a gradual warming feel. Certainly better than Labatt Pilsner which isn't bad in and of itself.

In my opinion for the high abv this beer has a clean slightly sharp taste at the but mellows balances at the end. For the value of this fine product compared to bud light or bud the taste abv price comparison to bud hands down this beer wins

Pours a clear, straw color. 1/4 inch head of an off-white color. Decent retention and good lacing. Smells of strong pale malt, slight sweet malt, adjunct, slight alcohol, and a hint of hop. Fits the style of a Light Lager. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of strong pale malt, adjunct, slight sweet malt, hint of alcohol, and a hint of hop. Overall, decent appearance, aroma and body are adequate, and the blend is adjunct-centric. It is reminiscent of Bud Light Platinum, with less sweetness and less noticeable alcohol.

For what this is, stylistically it's not a bad thing. Sure, it's boring to look at and the nose is nothing exciting as subtle corn is it. Taste is absent of any off tastes as a slightly bitter, grainy taste is all I get from a light to medium bodied heavily carbonated beer offers.

Straight "3's" across the board or a "6" overall. Sampled about a hour ago on 7/6/15. Comes in a pretty blue 12 ounce bottle. Bottle chilled down to 36 degrees F in my beer cooler and poured in to a 10 ounce vintage 'COOR'S" glass.

Brew pours a golden-yellow in color with a thin white head. Some lacing was seen when sipped. Aroma is of grains and sweet corn. Pretty much is said for the taste. Crisp and light. Nothing really special but it was just 'OK'. Lighter bodied with good carbonation.

In a 24 oz can, poured into a 12oz nonic glass. The color of ginger ale, with a fizzy, white, soda-like head. Smells like sweet corn and grains, not very strong smell. The taste is underwhelming, but not offensive, and the higher ABV does not get in your face. Mouth feel is light and crisp. Would be a good beer to swill after some yard work on a hot day. Overall, good enough and cheap enough to catch a summer afternoon buzz.
