12oz chubby bottle poured into a tulip glass

A- pours a crystal clear bright golden color with a small fizzy white head that reduces to a ring around the edge, carbonation bubbles shooting to the top

S- smells like pancakes; lots of make syrup aroma with a malty bready sweetness. As it warms, it gives an aroma of caramel or toffee flavored vodka with hints of vanilla, cola & brown sugar

T- flavor isn't nearly as appealing as the aroma. Up front, it tastes basically like an adjunct lager, slightly grainy & toasted. The maple flavor doesn't appear until the finish, adding a subtle sweetness

M- light body with moderate carbonation leads to a foamy mouthfeel and a crisp finish

O- this was better than I thought it would be. It's pretty simple, but the maple isn't overbearing or too artificial

Enjoyed in a pint glass from the bottle via the head of the Industrial Electrical side of the business I work for.
Pours a brilliantly clear honey color with a tinge of amber and a nice head of foam that dissipates to a thin layer and spotty lacing. Nose of pancakes, like a LOT of pancakes, a touch of grain, and that is it....pleasant but pretty much straight forward. Flavors exceed the nose with a fresh pancake flavor on all sides....the maple abounds without being overly done, but nearing the edge. Light maple and grain flavor in the aftertaste. Smooth mouth feel, crisp and subtly grainy aftertaste with a lightly dry finish for such a sweet maple malt beverage. Subtle but forward maple flavor. VERY NICE for what it is.

Eh?!? Cheers!

12 FL. OZ. bottle
Served in a becker glass

It pours golden and is topped with an inch of off white head that leaves some lacing.

It smells like maple syrup. At least the cheap shit that I use.

The maple flavor is not lacking. That is all I really taste.

Thin mouthfeel

This beer not bad. I did not expect the maple to be so prevalent, but it was worth a try. It makes me want pancakes and waffles now.

This was surprisingly good in my opinion. Pours the usual golden you would expect it to. The aroma is sweet and smells slightly of maple syrup. The flavor is big on maple syrup. Now, the beer could use more body, and more color, and more depth to it's flavor.... but I will give them one thing here: it does have a pleasant maple syrup flavor here, and I like that, considering that's how they marketed the beer.

Nice job. I'm sure it could be better. But for what I was expecting I honestly was not disappointed at all here.

Unknown bottle date poured August 9, 2015 in to a pint glass.

Look - Golden yellow. See through. Half finger of heads dissipates to a ring. Lacing is quick too.

Smell - Maple. Pancake batter.

Taste - Ale overpowers Maple then maple takes control. Grain. Caramel.

Feel - Carbonation is not overpowering. Medium. Slight bitterness on tongue.

Overall - Similar to coffee ales out there, only pancakes. Expect a darker beer and get light. I haven't had a twist top in a while.
