On-tap at Willimantic Brewing Co.

Pours a hazy light orange topped with a slight, off-white head and plenty of lacing.

Aroma is bursting with prickly pine, earthy and sweet. Lightly fruited notes impart some grapefruit, orange rind, honey. potpourri, and a generally sweet earthiness to give this one some great balance.

Taste brings bold but balanced notes of pine and grapefruit evened by honeyed orange rind and sweet peach; soft, but bold, balanced and subtly intense.

Mouthfeel consists of soft carbonation and a light, dry finish; really refreshing and ultimately juicy in its earthy tones.

Hazy with a soft bitterness that backs it's dense earthy and fruity balance extremely well. I'm loving this tempered bitterness alongside the dank fruit and raw pine; how it stays so bright among these is its real magic here. Another stellar brew via Counterweight.

Tried this at Eli Cannon's in Middletown, CT. Great pine and grapefruit aroma with floral notes. Taste is the same with some backnotes of honey and plum. Great beer.

Smell- amazing notes of grapefruit and lemon you seriously could easily confuse this beer as a shandy just from the smell.

Look- looks like a shandy

Taste-smells like grapefruit and lemons yet tastes like a skunked shandy, and when I say skunked I mean it taste like the smell of a man who just ran 5 miles who didn't wear deodorant, and squeezed some kind of citrus fruit to cover it up.

I love IPA's, this is seriously not one.

Definitely a solid choice, at a reasonable price if you're looking for an American IPA. $12/4pk at the shop I do the beer purchasing at.

Sunny gold body, matte and hazy, with a wonderful full three finger white head that leaves sticky, web-like lace.
Tropical fruit with some citrus in the aroma. Nice whiff of piney compost.
Grapefruit and zest dominate the flavor with notes of pine and spice. The thin malts manifest as sugar and faint honey.
The body is light, carbonation is medium. Light, fluffy mouth feel

Poured well, with nice head. Not great head retention.

Smell: very citrusy. Great hoppy smell

Taste: very hop forward. Light body, very solid bitter taste, and easy drinking. Bitterness lingers slightly on the back of the tongue.

Overall, a great everyday IPA.

A big thanks to Patrick for this one.

Headway looks like an IPA. It's bright, and clean, and polished golden. The foam cap is impressive, and it sits stubbornly as if whipped for meringue.

The aroma is equally bright. Wonderful, yet 'soft' mentions of grapefruit, melon, and damp pine. A mild honey like sweetness rounds it out.

Delicious. The citrus is not as sharp as I was expecting. It's quite equal to the honeydew melon note actually. A crushed Smarties candy like sweetness is briefly apparent before a wonderful pine sappy finish lingers on.

This is unexpectedly smoother than the impressive carbonation visually implied. It likes right between crisp and juicy. Kind of a medium slick feel to it, which I really enjoy. It is definitely on the bitter side of the spectrum and in one word, it's just 'easy' to drink.

Headway is my kind if IPA. Clean and delicious, with a good bitter bite. I could drink this anytime. Thanks again Patrick. Cheers!

Tall can

Pour medium hazed, under a large and lasting cap....leaving nice looking better then ample lacing and sheeting.

Yogurty, funky n resiny sniff....meh

The malt keeps raising its head on this one....notes of resiny hops. light yogurt funk...funky and seemingly a bit off....
