Notes:
Our version of a Pilsner is dry, crisp, and has a hint of hop character. The floral aspects of the hops, not the bitter, so please make sure that H word is never mentioned to your light beer friends. If you get real nerdy during your tastings, you will also pick up on herbal qualities. Like all Pilsners, ours is light in body and color.

Had Necessary Evil poured from 12-oz. can, bottom stamped (apparently) canned on "20220802," into pilsner glass.
Pours straw-gold with clarity and 1-finger near-white head, with good retention and leaving some scattered, chunky rings of lace down the glass. Floral and mild sweet pilsner malt aromas off pour, soon joined by some bitter herbals. Begins crisp, with herbal bitterness, then mild sweet malt, and some floral fruitiness over a creamy body, before a crisp finish.
A clean, straightforward and crisp German Pilsner, notable for its herbal bitterness and smooth body.

Pours a beautiful straw color with a nice white head, and aromas of fresh cut hay and some cracker notes.
Nice grassy flavors and the aforementioned cracker note, with a bright, crisp mouthfeel. A really nice summer crusher/lawnmower beer.

Color is that of top pilsners, golden.
Smell is appealing..dried apricots and cherries.
Taste verifies the promise of fruit from the smell.
Much heavier body than most pilsners.
Overall, I will be back for more.

Pours a pale gold with a thin white head that quickly disappears. Very floral aroma up front with hints of citrus and pilsner malt.
Nice pilsner malt taste up front with some standard hop bite. Very light mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Finishes smooth/thin with a hint of lemon and floral hops.
Overall, a solid pilsner and one that is easier drinking than certain other Texan-brewed variants of the style.

Look: semi-clear yellow with a thick white head
Aroma: pilsner malts and hops, some citrus
Taste: The flavor is a typical pilsner, a little bit better, some lemon and grassy hops.
Body/Overall: light easy drinking

12oz canned 1-22-19 (opened 2-9-19).
1" white head with decent retention down to a full cap. Pale golden pilsner with plenty of active carbonation. Laces the whole way through.
Pilsner malt nose with a lively lemon and grass-y hop aroma.
Nice crisp, crackery malt flavor. Zesty and spicy hops...light lemony finish that's nice.
Light bodied but definitely crisp and a good hop bite. Medium-high carbonation and mid-length finish. One knock is it feels a touch thin / watery in the finish.
Well done and has me wanting another one...good sign.
