Notes: Brewed with our amazing friends at Georgetown! How many IBU's is this beer? Zero. Well how many Juice Bomb Units is it? 100. The secret is out: many people on the internet are finally sharing a brewer's worst nightmare question about IBU's and beer. You see, IBU's are relative to the malt profile, pH, water profile, ABV, SRM, attenuation and 100 hundred other variables. JBU shatters juice boundaries by letting you drink it and not get caught up in the numbers of beer. Brewed to be pillow soft and taste like every fruit you have never had a chance to try yet.

Hugely hazed gold with three fingers of white craggy head. Rings and swathes of lace as the head falls.
Smell is dank hoppy fruity orange with plenty of sweet malts.
Taste is fruity some dank green hops with a big amount of sweet bready malts.
Mouthfeel is medium strong carbonation. Finish is mildly sweet with a balanced finish.
Overall a tasty New England style IPA. Yum! No date!

Light murky opaque yellow with a couple finger head, half of which dissipates quickly, this is indeed smooth and gets away with it. I wouldn’t tout all fruits, but mango for sure and definitely tropical juice bomb. Would have desired more carbonation but that would have got it away from the smooth juice they were going for!

16oz can purchased at Community Pint in Spokane, WA, for $3.99. Apparently this was brewed in collaboration with Georgetown Brewing of Seattle. The date stamp on the bottom of the can was partially obscured, but it appears it was canned sometime in June.

Hazy, tangerine color, with a thin, off-white head. No lace to speak of.

Juicy aroma, to be sure. Whiffs of mangoes, oranges, grapefruits and tangerines.

Taste is very similar to the nose. Very fruit forward, with little bitterness. Faintly dry at the swallow.

Medium bodied, with an abnormally low level of carbonation. Rather soft mouthfeel for anything labelled an IPA.

This will please juice bomb fans. Fans of beers that are well balanced, perhaps not so much. Good flavor, but bordering on insipid, and way too low a level of carbonation.

Poured into a Pint Defiance tulip. The body is a hazy orange hue, with a finger white head. Aromas consist of orange, grapefruit, tangerine, and strangely enough, marshmallow. It's similar to a creamsicle. Flavors are the same. The feel is medium bodied with low carbonation. Pretty light on the tongue.
